Leaving for the calm belt

They have declared me dead.

My mind worked furiously to figure out the motive of the world government behind this move. In the news they have not mentioned the casualty of a single celestial Dragon.

The entire Island we were fighting on, has sunken into the ocean. There were no survivors left besides me and Astrid. I doubt that they know about Astrid's survival. But those five immortal geezers won't think that I died. That means the news was purposeful.

Just couldn't figure it out. What exactly were they planning.

They could have completely sensored the news and erased any trace of that small Island from the history. But they didn't. Instead they declared the loss of one of their admirals and four vice admiral to a single no name pirate.

'Are they trying to warn me, that they know that I am alive by mentioning the unnamed pirate ?

Either way, if they are declaring me dead then they can't post a bounty on my head.

If your enemy is offering you something, then you should take a generously. Whether it is poisonous food or the exiler of life itself. You should take it first. How you use it, will come later.

Is there giving me a generous opportunity to prepare before going at them again, then obviously, I am going to take the chance.

Another night on the beach. It was really refreshing to sleep in a place where I don't have to worry about foul odour of corpses rotting beside me. Waking up, I did my morning routine and caught my breakfast from the ocean. My trick was really simple. Since I can swim and dive in the ocean of the shadow world, I just dive deep in the ocean of the shadow world and go really deep into the ocean where the shadow of the fishes as evident on the surface. Then I open portals and drag those fishes into my shadow world. The drawback in this technique is obvious. I will have to take a full bath in the ocean water every time I open the portal. So I usually leave my clothes behind in order to not get them wet.

After catching my breakfast I let a small fire and started to cook the thing. I had bought some seasoning from the day before which made the fish taste better. After feeling up my stomach I decided to move out.

The island I was in, was called Brazzer Island. It was one of the main Islands in the West blue, which was directly controlled by mafias. Due to the coal mine and the weapon factory the world government and the marines also keep an eye on it. But mostly this Island was law less.

I packed everything and started going towards the docks. The brazzer Island was in the Southwest part of the south blue. So in order to go anywhere near the calm belt or the reverse mountain I have to travel a long way going through the west blue.

Obviously I was not going to travel in the real world anymore. After coming to the docks I found a medium sized caravel that I can control alone.

Stealing the ship was easy. I have done it before. So I didn't find any issue in it. After stealing the ship I circled around The Island till I reach the large shadow of the rock hill behind me.

My ultimate goal was to reach the calm belt. I wanted to go to the same Island where Luffy have trained during the time skip. It wasn't because I wanted to see a legendary place or something. That Island has one of the most harsh environmental condition. Not to mention it was secluded from the outside world. And third important thing the island is surrounded by many sea Kings and it also contained many large animals. So I won't have to worry about food shortage.

I didn't know the exact location of the island. The only thing I know is it's name. Rusukaina island, and abandoned Island with a dangerous environment near Amazon Lily.

If I wanted harsh environment then little garden might also be a good option for me. But I took that out of my mind after remembering what happened to Nami in that Island. All the I was confident in my natural immunity system I would rather not test it against a prehistoric disease. Not to mention it was not completely out of human interaction. The island my be dangerous, but many pirates goes through that Island from time to time. So it won't provide me a completely secluded place.

Finally transforming into my hybrid form, I pulled the ship into my shadow world. And my journey to the calm belt began.

"Kureha ! Wake up ! This place isn't safe anymore ! We have to move out quickly ! They have found our location !" An old man in his sixties spoke with urgency.

"What ! I thought we are safe !" Kureha, a young girl around 14-15 years old panicked.

"I thought so too ! But those damned CP agents are really a pain in the ass."

Both of them quickly gathered everything they had and prepared to leave. But just before they could escape a loud bang was heard from the floor below them.

"Damn it ! I guess I have no choice ! These old bones are really not suitable for this kind of thing !"

"Grandpa Roxx !" Kureha was worried.

"Room.... Shambles !"

Roxx was a famous doctor in the drum island. But driven by passion, he joined the marines. But later he realised his mistake. Marine were nothing but lap dogs of world government. They does not represent justice. In fact they were not much different from pirates. Just more organised and more clean.

The higher he went up in ranks, darker the truths he learnt.

By the time he reached the rank of a vice admiral, he was disgusted by his own actions and position.

But he didn't know that his life has yet to go down hills.
