Li Dahai and his son both felt a vague sense of regret and worry for having invited wolves into their midst.
In the dead of night, they had no idea where the two black-robed individuals had gone.
"If it comes down to it, we'll have a do-or-die showdown with them!" said Li Ming.
"What nonsense! If that's the case, then what's the point in inviting them here?"
Li Dahai scolded.
"Besides, they are not humans, they are a group of wizards. Do you think we mere mortals can fight against them?"
Li Dahai said with no small amount of concern.
Li Ming's eyes darted around, "Dad, if only A'niu and the wizards could both be injured in the fight, we could benefit as the third party when the time comes!"
Li Dahai sat down on the couch with a thud, stroking his chin in thought for a moment.
"This is what you'll do, Ah Ming. Proceed with our plan. Go find A'niu at dawn and coax his secrets out of him."
