Lucius staggered back and swallowed the last body which happened to Cherry's body. With everyone dead, Lucius saw no need to just take their hearts and risk a rescue team finding heartless bodies and tracing them back to him.

Lucius wanted their powers so bad, he decided to swallow them whole. Lyxor did it with the Australian duo, so there was no problem for him doing the same thing.

Thud!

Lucius walked down the stairs, his Xenovian body reverting to his human form. He reached the podium and the veil slowly began descending.

The floor began rumbling, which caused Lucius to look around. He realized the floor was dislodging itself from the walls. Like an elevator, the underground temple chamber began shooting towards the surface.

"You have been blessed by the deities… The Amulet of Anansi is yours." The massive Viking statue said, its eyes dimming while its body slowly began crumbling.
