Chapter 294: Andy Collins, the Wealthy One in the Magic World

"It looks like you two are close!"

Helen teased, before warmly inviting, "Miss Granger, come over to our house sometime!"

"Mrs Collins, you can call me Hermione," Hermione said a little nervously.

Andy raised an eyebrow and interjected, "Mum, I've invited Hermione, and she'll be visiting our house for the last few days of the Christmas holidays."

"Really? Hermione, I'll be waiting then." Helen said, looking at Hermione.

"Well, it's getting late."

Andy took the opportunity to say, "Mum, don't keep Hermione's dad waiting outside too long."

"Okay!"

Helen smiled and patted Andy on the shoulder before turning to Hermione, "Hermione, let's go out together!"

Andy: "..."

For the next few minutes, Andy only felt unusually tormented.

It was not known where Helen and Mr Granger got so much to talk about, a witch and a muggle could actually have a heated conversation about the south and north of the world.

By the time the two had managed to end their conversation, Andy and Hermione glanced at each other and both saw a hint of relief in the other's eyes.

It was finally over!

After getting on the Knight Bus, Helen looked at Andy with a raised eyebrow, "In the last few months, your fame has been spreading all over Europe!"

"You mean that Patronus Charm, right?"

Andy said smugly, "It's just a little bit of fame, I guess it will soon be forgotten, it's nothing great."

"What about the basilisk?"

Helen's expression was somewhat not too pleasant, "Your grandfather has already told me about it. Andy, where did you get half a basilisk? Do you have any idea how dangerous creatures like Basilisk are?"

"Erm ..."

Andy raised his hands in surrender, "I'm fine!"

"It's not about you being fine!" Helen said in a sharp tone.

"Mum, Andy didn't mean to do it, it was just an accident, he won't risk his neck next time." Isabel pulled Helen's hand and said in a pitiful manner.

Andy froze, why is this girl so nice?

"Mum, let's not talk about it on the bus," Andy said in a hurry.

Helen lightly grunted and fiercely glared at Andy.

After being quiet for a while, Andy poked Isabel and whispered jokingly, "Issa, you've been quite well-behaved lately!"

"That's for sure! I've always been well-behaved."

Isabel pulled Andy's arm, tilted her little face up and asked with a cute smile, "Andy, am I your good sister?"

"No!" Andy said righteously.

Isabel: "..."

Before this little girl even opened her mouth, Andy guessed what she was plotting.

After selling the basilisk, Andy could be said to have become rich overnight.

How many snacks could he possibly buy?

Only now do you remember that I'm your good brother? Too late!

"Want some snacks?" Andy asked indifferently.

"Mmm!" The little girl nodded honestly.

"It's not impossible ..."

Andy hammered his shoulder and muttered to himself, "Ugh! My shoulders are a bit sore after months of school."

Isabel was very self-aware, "I'll squeeze it for you!"

Tsk!

That's the charm of money!

In Godric's Valley Square, the Knight Bus stopped with a sharp 'bared' sound.

After getting off the bus, seeing that Helen still had a stern face, Andy could only surrender and say, "The basilisk was really just an accident, I promise, I'll never do anything dangerous in the future."

Helen didn't even look at Andy, she waved towards Isabel, "Issa, let's go."

The little girl held Helen's hand and turned back to stick her tongue out at Andy.

Andy spread his hands helplessly and could only follow behind the two.

"Haha, Andy-" Grandfather Norman Collins gave Andy a warm hug as soon as they met.

"Long time no see. Grandpa, how's your health these days?" Andy asked.

"Health? Grandpa's body is fine!"

Norman sidestepped, "Come on in, it's cold outside."

After entering the house, the family sat around in front of the fireplace, grandmother Veronica Collins took some snacks and milk and distributed them to Andy and Isabel.

And then ...

It's a scene where the family comes together to chew Andy out.

Even Grandfather Norman betrayed the camp and joined the crusade against Andy.

The good thing is that Isabel little girl is quite loyal, to get her snacks, she still helped Andy from time to time to say a few good words.

Andy also repeatedly guaranteed that he would never take risks in the future.

"Right, Andy."

When the crusade was over, Norman suddenly asked, "I haven't asked you before, you stayed at Hogwarts all the time, where did you go to kill such a big basilisk?"

Helen glared at Andy, "I wouldn't have thought of it without you talking about the basilisk, the reason you wrote me to buy a rooster for you before was to deal with the basilisk, right?"

"Hmph! Obviously, it was premeditated, and you're still talking about accidents."

Andy threw up his hands in surrender.

"Where did the basilisk come from?" Helen asked.

"The Slytherin Chamber of Secrets," Andy said truthfully.

Norman slapped his head, "I knew it, why did you kid come to me during the summer holiday to ask about the Chamber of Secrets, so that's what this is all about."

Helen glared at Andy fiercely at his words.

Seeing this, Andy could only explain the whole thing truthfully.

From the very beginning of the discovery of clues, then to determine the intelligence, and then how he prepared, and finally how he killed the basilisk ... from the beginning to the end.

After understanding clearly, Helen curiously asked, "Is there anything else in the chamber besides the basilisk?"

"Nope!" Andy said.

The matter of magic transfiguration could not be known to the family, they would definitely not let Andy study such dangerous magic.

"Right, this is for you."

Norman threw Andy a key and explained, "The money from the sale of the basilisk, I've already helped you deposit it in the Gringotts, and also opened a vault for you, so have a look at it yourself when you have time!"

"Thank you, grandpa." Andy hurriedly put the key away.

This time there was really money.

Isabel looked at Andy enviously, thinking in her mind: it would be great if she could also kill a basilisk.

But Andy's money was her money.

The little girl asked curiously, "Grandpa, how much did the basilisk sell for?"

"More than fifty thousand Galleons, I think?" Norman said a rough estimate.

"That much?" Helen was surprised.

"That little?" Andy was a little less satisfied.

Norman explained, "The British side can't eat that much, so a large portion has to be exported abroad. Plus, there's still the need to get through the relationship ... Without feeding the Ministry of Magic, do you think they can turn a blind eye?"

Andy nodded in understanding.

Whether it was trading on the black market or smuggling to the European side, the Ministry of Magic's acquiescence was needed for this to be possible.

Helen glanced at Andy's coat pocket where he tucked the key, and said lightly, "Andy, why do you need so much money as a kid? Give the key to mum to keep it for you, I'll give it back to you when you grow up."
