Chapter 25 The hidden secret between Malfoy and I

"Okay...well, let's... let's get to class now."

Quirrell picked up the textbook and casually flipped to the first chapter, without caring whether the young wizard in the class was listening or not, he stammered and started to read it out.

This is the Defense Against the Dark Arts class?

Big brother, you're an undercover agent!

Damn, it's not even as good as what Professor Binns, a ghost, teaches, at least there is no strange garlic flavour in the History of Magic classroom.

If your class is so watery, aren't you afraid that Dumbledore will fire you?

Well! Judging from the film plot, Quirrell at least taught the whole semester.

Andy suddenly had some doubts, why would Dumbledore invite this kind of person to teach at Hogwarts?

This is definitely not a misjudgement!

Is it just to let Harry face Voldemort?

To build up Harry's courage and abilities on one hand, and on the other hand to test whether the protection magic on Harry's body still affects Voldemort.

But these were just Andy's guesses.

Or perhaps Dumbledore knew nothing about all this.

But regardless of whether Dumbledore knew about it or not, and regardless of what Dumbledore had planned, Andy decided to defend his rights.

Andy tore a piece of paper from his notebook and picked up a quill to write:

Mr. Malfoy, hello.

No offence, I just accidentally overheard your words, you want your father to file a complaint against Professor Quirrell.

To that, I agree.

We came to Hogwarts to learn magic, and having a professor like Quirrell who teaches us nothing is a waste of our precious time.

As a student, we have to defend our right to learn to an end.

I know your father is a Hogwarts school board governor, but I'm afraid that it will be difficult for him to influence Headmaster Dumbledore's decision on his own.

I think we should do something about it.

For example, we could gather the students of the four houses and send out a joint complaint together. Then Senior Malfoy will bring up the matter at the school board meeting and suggest that Headmaster Dumbledore should fire Quirrell and give us a better professor for the Defense Against the Dark Arts class!

Although Dumbledore is the Headmaster of Hogwarts, Hogwarts is not his own.

This school belongs to everyone in the wizarding world, and even more so to us, the current students.

It is up to us to make our voices heard where they belong.

--Andy Collins, a Ravenclaw.

After writing the note, Andy took out his wand and cast a spell on the note.

Enchanting a setting: Burn after reading!

This is a secret letter that cannot be seen.

It is fine for Dumbledore to learn about it, but if Voldemort knows about it, he might trouble Andy after his resurrection.

Andy hadn't read the plot of Harry Potter after the second year, and he wasn't sure about the exact time of Voldemort's resurrection.

If he had the ability, Andy naturally didn't mind soloing Voldemort - that way, he could at least gain great fame, which would help him become the Minister of Magic or something in the future.

However, if he didn't have the ability...then naturally he would have to keep a distance, and if he couldn't keep a distance in Britain, he would keep a distance abroad.

That's why it's better to leave the matter of offending Voldemort to Malfoy. Their family is not only pureblood but also very rich.

They should be able to withstand Voldemort's retaliation...right?

Putting away his wand, Andy folded the note into a paper crane, placed it in his hand and gently propped it up, the paper crane stirred its wings and flew towards Malfoy.

Malfoy received the paper crane with some surprise, he looked at Andy, and Andy also returned a look to him.

The two of them looked at each other from a distance.

Malfoy unwrapped the paper crane with some confusion.

He was initially a little unimpressed, but he was soon mesmerized by what was on it. The more he read on, the more he felt his heart swell with excitement, and his face turned red.

This is something that he must do!

The thought that he would unite all the students to complain against Dumbledore, and ultimately drive Professor Quirrell out of Hogwarts, and even make Dumbledore's reputation take a huge hit...

How wonderful would this be?

After that, he would gain great prestige among the student body, become the Prefect and Head Boy of the Student Body, dominate Hogwarts, graduate and become the Minister of Magic, and take charge of the entire wizarding world.

So what Voldemort, so what Dumbledore, no matter how powerful they are, have they ever been the Minister of Magic?

"Hoo-"

Malfoy took a deep breath as he prepared to read the contents of the note again.

Every letter on it captivated him.

The words on the note suddenly shifted, some letters disappearing while others recombined and soon formed something new.

"This letter will be burned after reading. It is a great taboo not to plan things in secret before achieving great things. As Headmaster Dumbledore has great influence and many eyes, remember to be careful."

"Uh..." Malfoy froze.

The note burned without fire and quickly turned into a pile of ashes.

Malfoy looked flustered and quickly pulled off a piece of paper, dipped his quill into the ink, and prepared to write back to Andy.

While he was writing his reply, he also sighed in his heart, this young wizard named Andy Collins really deserved to be a Ravenclaw.

Not only is he brave and resourceful in doing things, but he is also so careful and prudent.

A talent capable of doing great things.

It seems that the reason why he couldn't dominate the first year is because he lacked a strategist like this!

Malfoy felt that he already had two great generals Goyle and Crabbe, and if he could take Collins under his wing too, then he would have both brain and physical talents under his command.

From then on, wouldn't he soar into the sky?

Minister of Magic? The Dark Lord? Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards?

Wouldn't he be whatever he wanted to be?

Malfoy quickly wrote a reply, and he used the same method to fold the note into a paper crane and send it to Andy's desk.

Quirrell naturally saw it happen.

But he didn't care at all and didn't bother.

He is doing the big thing of helping the Dark Lord to come back to life and would be stealing the Philosopher's stone under Dumbledore's nose.

Two young wizards passing notes in class?

Heh!

Andy unwrapped the paper crane and read the contents.

That Malfoy boy was more positive about this matter than Andy thought, he couldn't wait to start a joint complaint and take out Dumbledore right away.

Andy glanced at Malfoy, this kid is brave!

Malfoy nodded at Andy with an excited look on his face, making Andy look a little puzzled.

Andy continued to read the letter.

Although Malfoy was eager to immediately start a rebellion, he also knew Dumbledore's strength and influence, the result of a hasty uprising could only be a failure.

He asked Andy in detail about the specifics of the plan and also swore that he would definitely act according to Andy's plan, and would never show any slight deviation.

At the end of the letter, he also requested to meet with Andy in private and asked Andy to address him as Draco.

This letter, like Andy's, was also burned after reading.

It was good that he took the bait.

The corner of Andy's mouth quirked as he pulled off a piece of paper and prepared to write another letter to Malfoy.

Hermione came over and asked curiously, "What are you and Malfoy being so secretive about?"
