"Haah.... haah..." Alaine breathed heavily as she slowly lifted her head, meeting Lucius' deep black eyes.

Immediately, her gaze switched to his lips and she tiptoed, kissing Lucius once again.

However this time, it was slower and more tender, their lips moving in sync with each other, nibbling in each other's lips before interlacing their tongues.

Lucius's hands roamed her body, caressing her curves, while Alaine's fingers tangled in his hair.

His hand reached out and cupped her breasts causing her to let out a small moan while tightening her grip on his hair.

The air around them was charged with the remnants of their passion, each touch igniting small sparks of desire until...

[Hello everyone~!]

A cheerful voice suddenly interrupted their moment.

They both froze, looking around in surprise.

[Did you guys miss me...? It's right! The third scenario is going to start!]

'Ah... I was so focused on her that I completely forgot that the third scenario was about to start...' Lucius pushed Alaine away as he looked into the panel.

[Scenario #3 - Plant and Survive!]

[Objective 1: Register a location as your base.]

[Objective 2: Plant support, attack, and defense plants.]

[Objective 3: Survive at least ten waves of zombies.]

[Success Rewards: 10,000 Coins + additional rewards based on performance.]

[Bonus: The larger the location of your main base, the better the rewards.]

[Bonus 2: If you kill more than 100 mutants, you'll receive an extra stack of rewards.]

[Bonus 3: If you reach the hundredth wave, you'll have a big chance of receiving an item with the highest rarity.]

[Bonus 4: After completing this scenario, you'll be immediately teleported to another location.]

[Difficulty: S~SSS]

[Failure Penalty: Zombification.]

Suddenly, a big bag of seeds appeared right in front of Lucius' eyes. He took them and analyzed them with appraisal.

[Seeds x99 (Common)

Description: Deadly seeds that grow in just a few seconds into attack, support, or defense plants.

Bonus: If these seeds are fed with fire, they'll grow into Fire Plants that deal much more damage.

Bonus 2: If these seeds are fed with wood energy, they'll grow into Wood Plants with incredible defense.

Bonus 3: If these seeds are fed with a lot of magic, they'll grow into Magic Plants that grant many benefits to the other plants, such as hastening their attack and improving their defense.]

"Mhm..." Lucius smiled at the panels.

"Well, I'll go now." He turned to Alaine just to see her looking at him with a bizarre look.

"W-what...?" He took a step back unconsciously.

"...It's nothing." She suddenly smiled. "I'll go too. See you later~" She waved before dashing away.

'That... was scary,' Lucius thought as he watched her leave.

He made his way back towards the place where he had told Jane to go while he was away. He knew Alaine would be upset, so he had prepared a note with information about the next scenario.

By spending a measly 10,000 coins, he had gotten some details about it.

"P-papa?!" He heard an excited voice and immediately felt a pair of small hands hugging his back.

"Bia—Little lady...." He smiled faintly, patting her head softly.

"Y-you're finally here... hah... huff...!" Jane breathed heavily, wiping the sweat from her forehead.

"Did you do everything I asked you to?"

"Y-yes... well... a-almost e-everything..." She took a deep breath. "I don't have any kind of magic, so I couldn't really help with the plants."

"Oh... that's not a problem. The little lady will take care of that." He crouched down to Bianca's height.

"Here's what you are going to do..."

He explained his plan to Bianca and Jane, and just after a few minutes, they got to work.

Bianca took all the seeds and started planting them into the stone ground.

She made small holes and placed the seeds inside, just as Lucius had told her.

Meanwhile, Jane fetched special fertilizers as Lucius instructed. After a while, everything was ready.

"Huff... t-that was tiresome...!" Jane collapsed to the ground, leaning against one of the mall's walls.

"Mhm!" Bianca cheerfully nodded as she clung to Lucius' neck.

After infusing the seeds with enough mana, she immediately hugged him and clung to his neck.

"Well... now that everything's done..."

"Register."

[Location registered successfully...]

[Scanning territory...]

[100 Attack Plants found... 75 Fire Plants found... 75 Wood Plants found... 50 Magic Plants found!]

[Would you like to start the 1st wave?]

Without hesitation, Lucius pressed the [Yes] button.

"Time to play some ol' games~!"

And as he said so...

— ROAAAAARRR!

A giant horde of zombies started invading the hall from all the entrances. There were all kinds of zombies.

The normal zombies, zombies with weapons, zombies with their entire body made of steel.

And there were even zombies with three times their original size.

People from all over the planet were completely scared but Lucius...

This was none other than an exp farm.

"Now!" Lucius gave the command.

Immediately, Bianca infused more mana into the seeds, and instantly, they grew into some kind of deadly plant with a horrendous appearance.

"Attack!"

— Fizzzzleee!

— BOOOM!

The fire plants started launching fireballs at the incoming horde, causing many zombies to die instantly.

The notifications started appearing as a smile appeared on Lucius's face, he turned around and signaled to Bianca.

She nodded her head and infused mana into the magic plants which upon growing, started shining with bright blue light.

That blue light was guided towards the fire plants and immediately, the power and speed of their fireballs increased.

— BOOOM!

— BOOOM!

[You have completed the 1st wave!]

[Would you like to go to the 2nd wave?]

"Damn... already?" Lucius scratched his head.

He actually didn't expect to finish the 1st wave in such a fast time.

"Start the second wave!"

— ROAARRR!

More zombies poured in, this time even more diverse.

There were zombies with elongated limbs, crawling on walls, and others with glowing eyes, exuding a creepy ass appearance.

Some even wielded makeshift weapons, swinging wildly as they charged towards the plants.

"Focus on the wall crawlers!" Lucius shouted to Bianca.

Bianca nodded her little head.

She infused more mana into the magic plants, and they pulsed with even greater intensity.

The fire plants targeted the wall crawlers, their fireballs exploding on impact, sending bits of zombie flesh flying.

— Fizzzzleee!

— BOOOM!

The air was thick with the smell of burning flesh and the acrid scent of magic.

Lucius moved swiftly, directing the wood plants to form a defensive barrier around them.

The sturdy plants grew tall and wide, their thick branches interlocking to create a defensive wall that protected the 'core' of their base.

"Jane... now!" Lucius called out.

Upon hearing his words, Jane took a few buckets out of her inventory and threw the liquid of the bucket into the ground.

Immediately, a small river of lava slid down the defensive walls and burned the zombies to their deaths.

"Watch out for the big ones!" Lucius warned as he spotted a group of massive zombies lumbering towards them.

These giants were tougher and more resilient and their bodies could actually handle the fireballs.

"Switch to magic plants!" Lucius ordered.

Bianca quickly adjusted, channeling her mana into the magic plants.

The blue light intensified, and suddenly, the fire plants' attacks turned from simple fireballs into piercing beams of searing energy.

— ZZZZZZZZAAAAPPPP!

The beams cut through the giant zombies, reducing them to ash. Lucius watched with satisfaction as the zombies disintegrated before his eyes.

More notifications appeared and his smile couldn't help but widen.

"Truly... an exp farm," he muttered to himself.

And finally, just after a few minutes of doing the same strategy, the second wave had come to an end.

[Would you like to start the 3rd wave?]

Looking at the panel, Lucius, this time refused it.

"Jane, how many did we lose?" He asked.

"Uhh... we lost about 7 Fire Plants and 1 Wood Plant." She replied to him which made him think more about the situation.

'Tsk... if the second wave is already much more difficult than the first one... how am I supposed to reach the hundredth one.'

'If only the actual plants versus zombies... I could actually buy more plants. Wait... buy?'

Immediately, Lucius opened the shop...
