McDonald Quinn was a legend of an era, but whether he was a legend of the time or a living legend, what did it matter?
Yet Mike thought it mattered, so he kept staring at the photo of McDonald Quinn, perhaps reminiscing about the era that belonged to him and McDonald, or maybe McDonald Quinn was his idol?
Just then, Brian and the other two came down.
Brian walked straight to the dining table and sat down, with Paul and Charles sitting down to his left and right, directly opposite Mike.
After sitting down, Brian said in a deep voice, "We've received the money, and we're leaving soon. The tickets are purchased, a direct flight to Moscow tonight."
Mike glanced at Brian and said indifferently, "Hmm."
Brian took a breath and continued in a solemn tone, "I know you've always had a problem with me, and I know you never trusted me. No matter what I do, you won't trust me."
Mike said quietly, "If it's time to go, then go. Why say all this?"
