"Stay," he said when she didn't reply. "Just for a little while." Davien watched her gently nibble on the side of her lip as she thought deeply.
Bel paused and lifted her gaze to meet his eyes. "I am only doing it to keep an eye on you. So nothing goes wrong," she said, eyes wide.
He nodded. "So, is that a yes?" he questioned. Davien found that he was enjoying himself.
"No, it's a maybe," she responded and returned her gaze to her food.
Davien smirked. "Do you enjoy telling me no?"
"No," she replied, raising her head when she realized.
Davien raised a brow, holding back the urge to smile even more. "That's not what it seems like. You just said no again." Davien knew he had to stop, but doubted he'd ever get the chance to go this far again.
"No is just the appropriate answer here," she replied, her eyes showing her disapproval.
"I don't think you can say a sentence without telling me no."
