Zhouzhou looked at him with confusion, her face displaying uncertainty, but she nodded nonetheless.
Qin Lie wasn't surprised; it seemed he anticipated what Yu Ze was about to say, gesturing toward the nearby car. "Let's talk in the car, and then we'll head up."
"Thank you."
As they sat in the car, Zhouzhou swung her little legs and asked in bewilderment, "Uncle Yu, what do you want to tell me?"
Yu Ze looked at her and spoke slowly, "I want your help in convincing Ji'an to genuinely forgive Mr. Huo."
"Huh?" Zhouzhou tilted her head, puzzled. "But Little Skinny Pole has already forgiven him, hasn't she?"
Yu Ze shook his head. "No, that's not true forgiveness. It's just Ji'an consciously burying those memories. If he truly forgave him, he wouldn't resist Mr. Huo like this."
With her hand resting on her knee, Zhouzhou shook her head. "Uncle Yu, I don't understand."
