The next day was sunny. After Seraphina left for work, Linden checked the calendar and saw that today was the day Luna was supposed to come home for her break. He decided to visit the surface living area to see her.
He tried sending a message to Seraphina, letting her know he was going to visit his sister. Seraphina didn't reply immediately, probably because she was busy. Linden gathered some food and pulled out winter clothes for Luna, even though werewolves were naturally resistant to the cold. He still cared deeply for his sister and wanted her to be comfortable, so he also bought her a warm coat.
He also considered buying Luna a phone. Although the werewolf school prohibited the use of communication devices during school hours, many students secretly brought them anyway. Having a phone would allow Luna to contact him in case of emergencies.
