The Massacre (Very Short Chapter)

Strolling forward with hands in her pocket Naruko would call out, "Hey, I know you idiots are there. Here's the deal, I'm gonna play with most of you while my team trains a little bit."

There was no response before Naruko shrugged. "Sakura 8'o clock, Sasuke 9 o'clock, Sai 10 o'clock. A clone of mine already placed a Kunai where you should be, idiots just didn't realize it." There was finally a reaction as the sounds of weapons being drawn could be heard, but her team surged forward.

"Soooo. 7 chunin versus 3 genin. 7 Chunin and 3 Jonin against a lonesome Jonin. Clearly, you should be able to deal with us with ease." Kunai came from 1 o'clock, Water Jutsu surged from 3, and from 4, 5, and 6 o'clock, the hissing of blades swinging through the air came.

In response she unsheathed her sword, ducking, weaving, and deflecting. "Oye, oye. That was rude." Looking towards the three sword users, she'd nod. "One jonin, and two chunin facing me in melee. While two Jonin and 5 Chunin barrage me with Ninjutsu and Kunai? Impressive strategy." A taunting smile spread across her face.

"I wonder, do you think I could take you all out in a minute if I close my eyes, use no ninjutsu, and start crawling across the ground?"

There was pure silence as Jutsu, Kunai, and Swords came at her again. 'Interesting. These ones aren't talkative at all... Even Zabuza is, unless he's only talkative to people he respects, or only started being talkative when he gained a certain level of strength in canon?'

Her blade flashed about the area as she expertly weaved through the blows. "Hey, hey? Are you even trying? You've got 4 people throwing water-style Jutsu at me and there's no water dragon? Hell, none of you have used the Hiding in Mist Jutsu, aren't you looking down on me a little?"

A grin spread across her face, "Unless of course, you can't use Hiding in Mist because not all of you are trained in being able to fight through it?" There were harsh whispers in the forest, and a heavy frown on the Jonin using Kenjutsu against her. A cackle escaped as a mad grin spread across Naruko's henged face. "Then let's make this a bit fun!"

A singular hand rose up so that it was vertical with her nose. "Hiding in Mist Jutsu!" As the mist began to rise up in the area, a haunting chuckle would escape from her lips. "Did you know that mist like this changes shadows in strange and interesting ways? It's what inspires many horror stories, a tiny fish turning into a titanic sea monster, a cat into a lion..." Her voice echoed around the area as she moved, nearly two dozen clones being made.

"It's truly interesting what such a simple jutsu can do." The sounds of struggles and groaning could be heard. "Shadow Possession Jutsu, success." A different Naruko spoke up, barely able to be seen holding the famed rat sign. Another one spoke up. "Shadow Possession Jutsu, success." Ten Naruko clones appeared all around the fog, holding the rat sign. The primary one continued speaking, "Would you like to be a part of such a show gentlemen and ladies?"

Two clones reached down pulling out Kunai, their possessed counterparts doing the same. "Let the show, BEGIN!"

Two shadowed figures charging at each other could be seen, Kunais drawn. A splash of blood filled the area as one crumbled. A third figure came charging forward. A horrific shadowed puppet show played out for the eyes of all who were watching.

"Please no!"

"AGH!"

"YOU MONSTER!"

"Stop! Please!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Screams of horror, shouts of pain, cries, pleas, curses, and more spread throughout. In the end, it went quiet. The only thing able to be heard was breathing. The mist slowly began to fade, and the clones popped. Once more her footsteps echoed out as she scrunched on leaves, a sad, haunting smile on her face. "Now, do you want to surrender?"

As the mist fully disappeared 10 Kiri Nin could be seen, none of them were injured, but all of them still stuck in the Shadow Possession Jutsu. "Unless of course, you want that to be real instead of my clones fighting each other?"

The grin on her face only widened when one spoke up, "I- I surrender!"

"Good, I thought I'd have to kill a few of you first. Now be good children and sleep." The shadows themselves rose up and ever-so-gently began to strangle them.

Narukos face went blank as the last one passed out, and she sighed. "Perhaps I'm too kind?" Shaking her head she'd stuff her hands into her pants and begin to stroll on over to her team. 'Mhm... Clones didn't pop so they must be doing fine.'

Getting sicker - this might be the last chapter for a little bit. But I'll try to get out the rest of the team's POV before going MIA.
