Chapter 1 : Kyros!

Kingdom of Fiore

Magnolia Town

"Welcome to Fairy Tail!"

Standing before the grand gates of the Fairy Tail guild, Makarov greeted Kyros with a warm smile.

"Fairy Tail, huh?"

Kyros gazed upon the imposing guild structure before him, a mix of awe and disbelief swirling in his mind. Though he had heard of it countless times, seeing it in person left him marveling anew.

"Quit gawking and come inside. It's time to meet your fellow guildmates," Makarov urged Kyros.

"Squeak!"

As the doors of Fairy Tail swung open, a cacophony of noise spilled out, enveloping the area in an atmosphere of vibrant energy.

"Get him, Natsu! Show him who's boss!"

"Gray, don't hold back! Teach him a lesson!"

Amidst the bustling scene, a heated duel was underway between a boy with fiery crimson hair and another with sleek black locks, their fists flying in a blur of motion.

Rather than intervening, the onlookers seemed to revel in the spectacle, their cheers and jeers adding to the excitement of the moment.

"You fiery troublemaker!"

Gray's punch landed squarely on Natsu's cheek, sending him stumbling backward into a nearby desk, a triumphant smirk gracing Gray's lips.

"Icy pervert!"

Gritting his teeth, Natsu swiftly retaliated, launching himself at Gray with a fiery determination, his fist connecting with Gray's jaw and sending him sprawling to the ground.

"Enough of this! I'm fed up!"

With a menacing glare, Gray clenched his fist, channeling his magic to conjure icy constructs, a chill permeating the air around him.

"Magic, huh? Let's see what you've got!"

Unfazed by Gray's display, Natsu's eyes gleamed with anticipation as flames danced around his hands, ready to ignite.

"Cease this nonsense at once, you two!" Makarov's thunderous voice boomed, cutting through the chaos like a bolt of lightning.

In an instant, two massive palms descended from above, crashing down upon the brawling duo with a resounding thud.

"Boom!"

The ground shook as Natsu and Gray tumbled to the earth, their antics abruptly halted, leaving the surrounding spectators in stunned silence.

When he turned around, he noticed Guild Master Makarov's unexpected return.

"Guild Master's back!"

"Welcome back, Guild Master!"

"Guild Master, welcome back!"

...

The guild members warmly greeted Makarov upon his return.

Makarov scolded Natsu and Gray with a stern voice, "You two troublemakers! I've told you before, you can spar in the guild, but no magic! Do you want to bring the guild down?!"

"Quickly, tidy everything up for me!"

"Yes, sir!"

Natsu and Gray were taken aback, quickly springing into action to clean up. They exchanged unconvinced glances, silently vowing to settle the score next time.

Kyros observed Natsu closely. Natsu, about eleven years old, sported fiery red hair and wore a scarf reminiscent of dragon scales around his neck.

Though there were slight discrepancies from the animated portrayal, Natsu's identity as the protagonist of Fairy Tail was unmistakable.

Kyros then turned his attention to Gray. Gray closely resembled his animated counterpart, albeit a bit smaller in stature.

"Guild Master, who's he?"

Many guild members noticed Kyros's curious gaze directed at the newcomer beside Makarov.

Makarov cleared his throat and introduced, "Ahem! Allow me to introduce, this is our new guild member, Kyros. He'll be joining us at Fairy Tail from now on. Let's all make him feel welcome."

"Guild Master, where'd you pick up this kid? Fairy Tail's turning into a daycare!" Macao, evidently a bit tipsy, couldn't resist teasing at the sight of Makarov bringing back yet another youngster.

"Macao's got a point, soon we'll all be babysitters instead of mages," Wakaba chimed in, echoing the sentiment.

Makarov retorted angrily, "Enough! You lot, instead of shirking your duties and drinking in the guild, recognize Kyros's strength—he's stronger than all of you!"

"What?!"

The guild erupted in astonishment at Makarov's claim.

While Macao and Wakaba might be slackers on ordinary days, their magical prowess was not to be underestimated, with few within the guild capable of besting Macao in combat.

And yet, the Guild Master asserted that this young lad, seemingly no older than twelve, could defeat Macao.

"This is impossible!!"

"Guild Master, it doesn't matter if you call me trash, but saying I can't even beat a kid? That's impossible!"

Macao snapped back to sobriety.

In his twenties, Macao wasn't merely a sloppy alcoholic. Being told he couldn't defeat even a child was a deep humiliation, stirring his youthful vigor.

"Boy, your name's Kyros, right? Come and face me!"

The guild members perked up at the prospect of a brawl. They relished combat, whether participating or spectating.

They all knew Macao's prowess and magic, a formidable wizard within Fairy Tail.

Kyros, the newcomer, piqued their interest. With the Guild Master claiming Macao couldn't match him, they anticipated the newcomer's strength.

Kyros frowned, shaking his head. "It's better not to engage."

"Scared, are you?" Macao taunted.

Kyros nodded gravely. "Yes."

A smirk crept onto Macao's face. Surely, the Guild Master was spewing nonsense. How could he possibly lose to such a kid with his strength? But the smirk faded as Kyros added:

"I'm afraid I might accidentally kill you with one punch."
