POV The Lord.

I stared at my adversary, we had been fighting for… 278 years now?

My opponent stared back. A gigantic mask on its face. It looked humaniod, acted like a human too, but every time it saw a Youkai or human without a mask, it would call them the unblessed and viciously attack them, and if it could it would take out a chip of its mask and put it on said human or Youkai.

And I, just so happened to be a Youkai without a mask. But there was one problem with it viciously attacking me. I was too strong.

But the masked creature was strong as well, not as strong as me, but strong. And it had backup. I, did not.

I did not have backup. But that wouldn't be for long. Or at least I could hope…

POV The Lord, a few weeks before.

2 of my tails shot forward at the masked creature, going directly into its eyes and brain. I then ripped my tails out of its mask and caused black gooey blood to spill everywhere in the dimensional gap.

I continued to gather the mana in the area intensely, recharging me back to full strength. Even gathering some from my home dimension.

The masked creature flopped over, dead, disintegrating into mana particles. But I knew not for long.

Suddenly I felt something breach the dimensional gap, I looked down from my position, and saw two people, a man and a woman.

My gaze zoomed in on the woman, she was a ten tailed Kumiho, and she was pregnant, not just with any regular 10 tailed Kumiho, but with a Mabeop Yuukai variant.

I then zoomed in on the man, his potential in magic astonishing me. He was around the level of the weakest, mentally handicapped, physically disabled, newborn of my race. And yet he was a human. Very impressive indeed.

He must be the lover of the Kumiho. But where are they going?

I sent my mind magic at the man and woman, breaching their defenses like a hot knife on butter.

Ah, they escaped here, but don't know how to get out. Why don't I help them a bit?

I then sent my own mana down, breaking the dimensional wall and sending them towards my home.

POV The Lord, a few days before.

Jiyeon looked up and my projection and modded fervently, "You shall join the… cleansers on their mission. When you come across a wooden cabin, contact me."

"Yes! M'lord!"

I guided the wild Kumiho that my… cleansers were chasing in the direction of the cabin of my future allies.

The perfect set up. I even told Jiyeon of the method of Youkai transformation. Lets hope the other two don't screw it up, in fact let me control them.

My mind magic invaded their brain, taking control of their every action.

I then informed Jiyeon of the location of the Kumiho they would have to follow.

"M'lord! We have found the cabin you spoke of! What is your next order?

"Good, I shall tell you about its inhabitants. First is a human man, he has a great magic potential, so I wish for you to convert him into a Youkai.

Second is a 10 tailed Kumiho, she has an even higher magic potential than the human, but most importantly she is pregnant with a Maeop Yuukai, one with the highest potential I have seen! Rivaling mid tier Shin Yaneo!"

Jiyeon looked aghast, a Mabeop Yuukai, and one that rivaled a Shin Yaneo? Shin Yaneo were gods! And yet this child rivaled one?

I watched as the man I knew as Merlin used light magic to turn invisible, and then air magic to float.

He slinked out of his own bed and through the now open window. I then used my mind magic to shoo the Kumiho away, so the beast couldn't disturb the meeting.

'Jiyeon, now.'

Jiyeon suddenly took a turn towards the direction of Merlin, much to the confusion of her followers. But they didn't complain, or rather, couldn't and followed behind her.

Hmm… the 10 tailed Kumiho is about to wake up. It would be best if I controlled her lover so she won't overreact.

And so I sent my mind magic to take over Merlin. I broke through his mental defenses without his notice and went for the core of his very being.

Hmm? Why can't I control him?

Suddenly I felt the fabric of the dimensional gap shake and tremor, being cut open by a far more powerful being than me.

A hole towards the void. No, not just a hole, but a gigantic chasm. Bigger than several solar systems.

One finger reached out, no, not even a finger, but the tip of a nail. The nail reached forward and grabbed me, pulling me into the void.

I crained my head as far as it could go, but it was of no use, as I couldn't see past the beings foot.

I wasn't even a speck of dust in comparison to this being.

"You have tried to invade my… disciple's mind, and not only that, but tried to control them, lesser god what do you plea? Guilty, guilty, or guilty?"

Thats not good. Well, time to use something I haven't done in many millennia. I kowtowed on the void floor.

"Senior, please take pity of this one! This junior had no idea that he was invading your disciples mind!"

"So, do you plea guilty, gulity, or guilty?"

Unreasonable old men!

"Senior please! I had no idea who I was messing with! This junior has eyes but can't see Mt. tai!"

"You know, I don't like asain begging that much. Please get another way to beg for forgiveness."

Asian? What was that? Must be from this Senior's hometown.

"You small one, are guilty. And the price you will pay, … shall be to not interfere with their life or their loved ones lifes."

That was it? I thought senior would sentence me to 1000 years of purgatory.

"Oh, and what you thought just now."

POVThe greatest ROB of them all.

These young folk have no respect do they? With a flick of my finger a gigantic blob composed of masks appeared. Well not gigantic to me, but still big. A few galaxy sized. A decently powerful god.

"Hello, you know that reality you are attacking full of Youkai for the last few hundred years? Well could you postpone that for a decades? Then you SHALL attack ONCE, with NO godtier entities."

The blob of masks slightly dissolved each time I raised my voice. I then left.

POV Merlin.

300 sets of ear plugs… 301 sets of ear plugs… 302 sets of ear plugs.

All I had been doing the past few days was constantly creating smaller and smaller objects. Gumiyeong said it was to help increase my mana control, but I think shd still had a small sadistic streak in her.

Because even after I could do every single of of my magics again, even better than I could do before, she still had me doing this…

Perhaps it was payback for my harsh training? Must be.

My third tail collided with the other two tails making them enter into a sort of brawl.

Ooooohhhh, EEEEEEE, ahhhh…

From my human amount of mana, it increased 20 times when I became a Mabeop Yuukai, then woth my three tails it became…

I furowed my brows, thinking intently of the math.

Four thousand… three hundred… and twenty times my human amount. Definitely worth becoming a Mabeop Yuukai.

Wait, didn't Mabeop sound like maybe op? Apparently the Korean word for magic sounded like how you say maybe op in English.

Just food for thought.
