"Can someone get that one upstairs to keep quiet? She's starting to give me a headache," Dorothy said, touching her temple to calm the ache.
Life with Beth was a headache every day. She placed Beth in the room furthest from where she walked every day, but there were a few moments when she heard the slightest squeak out of Beth and it annoyed her.
Dorothy had been requested to visit Beth to hear about how Beth would forget about Jack and leave town or how she would reveal that she had lied about being pregnant and deal with the consequences.
Dorothy didn't care about any of the promises Beth was making. Unlike Jack, she knew not to trust Beth. As soon as she was released, Dorothy knew Beth would come up with some story to make herself the victim even though she had lied about being pregnant and wanted to kill the woman who was to become her mother-in-law.
"I'll have to deal with her myself," said Dorothy.
"Milady, your son is here to see you."
