Haunted Ghost

Why was she so spiky that whenever she's  touched, he would end up in untold pain?

And yet, despite everything, he still couldn't stop thinking about her. Was she alright and had gotten her rich boyfriend to send those men after him? 

Or had something happened to her and that was why that man referred to as the boss, had sent his men when she couldn't be saved? 

He couldn't be sure but if Grace was fine and was behind this, he will never let her get away with this, but that's if they manage to get out of this place alive. 

Rufus kept glancing at the door, half-expecting it to swing open again, revealing the grim faces of their captors. But it remained shut and the only sound in the room was Lisa's quiet, rhythmic sobs which was beginning to get on his nerves but unfortunately had no right to stop her.

They were alone, at least for now, but that did not bring any relief as he knew that wouldn't last.
