Chapter 114 : The King Of Curses 2

Major Quest: Heroes Don't Run Away From Fights. 

Main Quest: Beat Sukuna without using Overdrive.

'Great, now you decided to show up system.' Yuta just rolled his eyes at this. What about when he fought against that other special grade sprit, where was the system then? 

'Hmm, without Overdrive. I have to say that the system just picks up whatever I call something and uses that. Hero Time previously wasn't a term in the system, it took it becuase I use that to define my ability. And now this. Seems like I have to be thoughtful when I name by moves and powers from now on.' 

Another thing which he doesn't get is, why it only says Overdrive and not RCT. He previously got the quest to hide his RCT powers from Sukuna. Things have been very confusing for him, especially when it is hard to realise what the system is talking about here. 

Is the healing or his curse technique itself which is annoying when it states RCT. Becuase he is sure by how he himself names things and how the system picks those names that both are not the same. 

BOOM.

Yuta was pondering this while running away, from the king of curses, and he has to say that Sukuna is one persistent bastard. No matter how fast he runs, that guy just catches up. 

Yuta with all his speed got out of the building as soon as possible. It's really hard to fight with Sukuna in the building as with just one expansion of his domain, he can cover pretty much all the place.

At least outside Yuta has a chance to get out of domain range before it is established. Thankfully, Sukuna was currently at only 10% of his power, making his domain too that much smaller. This is the only character pretty much in JJK who has a fully open domain. The range is just way too much. 

'Most likely Megumi and I will fight against him. Assuming that Sukuna wouldn't want to hurt Megumi, he would most likely come after me. Well, I can certainly use that to my advantage.' Yuta smiled a little before finally getting an opening to get out of the building.

"Ah, finally the open world. That brat kept me suppressed all this time. It's honestly annoying as hell." Sukuna said as he got out of the building while chasing Yuta but then stopped to admire the newfound freedom. 

"Yuta..." Megumi came running, after hearing the noise, at first he thought it was the same special grade but then upon seeing Yuji covered with those tattoos. He understood the situation and didn't talk any further. 

"Nue." 

From his shadow came out a bird with a human-like face, it stood behind him while protecting Megumi with his wings, which strangely had lightning coursing through them.

"What happened." That was the only thing Megumi asked after seeing Sukuna in Yuji's body. 

"That special grade knocked out Yuji because he is an idiot, and then Sukuna took control." Yuta sighs with frustration and helplessness in his voice. 

Sukuna who earlier was only interested in Yuta shifted his focus to Megumi. "Oh, you are the boy from earlier. Say you want to continue where we left off last time ?" Sukuna smiled derangely and asked.

Megumi at this just pursed his lips. His hands were already in a particular stand which practically made Yuta roll his eyes.

'Dude please, is that the only thing you can do.' 

"We have to stop Sukuna here Yuta. We can't let him get away." Megumi said with much grim tone in his voice. 

"I know," Yuta grumbled as he too got ready to fight. 

"OH, you are not planning to run anymore," Sukuna said this while shifting his focus on Yuta, with narrowed eyes, like he was contemplating something. 

"Interesting, very interesting. Fine, I will make this even more fun." Sukuna smiled as he raised his hand and stabbed at his own chest, or to be more accurate, at Yuij's chest and took out his heart.

"So here is the deal, either you stop resisting and die, or you try to stop me but this brat dies once he took over his body." Sukuna grinned with a maniacal face. 

He then rushes right at Megumi to attack him. 

"No, not so quick." Yuta acted before even Sukuna moved and interjected him on his part. Eyes blazing with red at this time. Clearly, Sharingan was on display, thankfully he always wear contacts nowadays to hide that fact. 

He predicted thanks to Sharingan what Sukuna was about to do. With OFA at 30 and Soru. He immediately arrives at where Sukuna.

"OFA 30 Pistol," Yuta mutters as his body crackles with blue lightning around him, punch ready to be delivered. 

As Sukuna saw the powerful punching coming, he too was in a daze for a brief second. He didn't sense any curse energy on Yuta, because of this, he wasn't able to sense Yuta coming either. 

All he could do was to block the upcoming punch. 

BOOM.

Sukuna was thrown back toward the wall, though still, he was able to stop himself with good manoeuvring his body.

Megumi saw this with surprise, still now he never saw Yuta using this kind of physical power. Due to Yuta no limiting any curse energy, Megumi thought that this was pure physical power. 

He was pretty much in the same boat with Sukuna on this one, neither could sense Yuta nor could fully put him in the Heavenly restriction category. 

"Hmm, that was unexpected. Seems like you really did beat that cursed spirit. But I still don't understand how." Sukuna got himself out of the busted wall like nothing happened, healing Yuji's body instantly despite the lack of heart he left. 

"Guess I will first bisect you to see what's going on here." Sukuna smiled as he almost vanished from his place. Making Yuta's senses tingle in danger, thanks to Sharingan he was able to not only see the extremely fast Sukuna approach nearing him but also the invisible slash that he sent towards his direction.

But for Yuta, this wasn't invisible anymore. He was able to see the curse energy forming an invisible blade and coming at him. He not only saw the direction and trajectory of the attack but even its length. 

With OFA 30, his reaction was lightning-fast as he twisted his body like he didn't have any bone in his body to evade the invisible attack. This was of course the paper body. Making not only Sukuna but even Megumi dumfounded for a second. 

This is when Yuta suddenly realized that with Sharingan he can even see invisible attacks from the likes of Sukuna. Well, he was able to see Toru so there is no surprise at this.

'Ohh, you saw that didn't you? How so interesting. You clearly lack curse energy and yet you are not only able to see curse spirit but even my dismantle.' Sukuna didn't look dejected at all. On the contrary, he looked more excited, like he had gotten a new toy to play with.

Yuta didn't bother replying. 

" Hey, Megumi. How long you are planning on standing there, admiring a fight? If you don't wanna help then just get out of here. That would be more helpful." Yuta shouted with clear irritation on his face.
