Chapter 11; For a murderer?

The warden handcuffed her and opened the door letting her out before closing and locking it, she waved at them for the last time before she got dragged away.

"Be gentle! You aren't dragging some garbage bags, this is a human body!" Su Wei Wei mumbled pouting her lips, these people were rough and inconsiderate.

" Gentle? For a murderer? " Another police officer mumbled glaring at her disgustingly.

" Murderer? I'm getting arraigned in Court, when did the judge rule out I'm a murderer? Be careful, ghosts are roaming all over... " She coldly muttered while taking her away, she knew there were several police officers who were connected to the Su family and helping them secretly.

Su Wei Wei was unconscious of time and didn't know what time it was, but she knew, it was early morning with the way the sun was soft.

She got aligned at the Court, and with the unrefutable pieces of evidence, she was set free, got rid of the uniform, and wore her normal clothes that had been locked up in the police lockers.

She strode out of the courtroom and stood there in the parking lot inhaling and exhaling loudly.

She stretched her hands out to feel the circulating air of freedom, she behaved like someone who had been jailed for years seeing her actions, but no one knew, how freedom truly tastes. She was finally standing under the sun.

"Miss Su, congratulations on your freedom..." The lawyer who was representing her in the court strode over to her direction after getting done with paperwork. It was his first time seeing her and was surprised that she came from the Su family when his master presented her case.

"Thank you Mr lawyer... You are good at what you are doing..." She closed her eyes and leaned on a car that was there and she lifted her head facing the sun, it was soft and warm caressing her cheeks.

"I'm free..."

"Finally, I'm free..."

She mumbled waving her hands, the lawyer wondered if she had just been locked up for a few days, her actions symbolized a person who had gotten freedom after a long time of court battles and years of imprisonment.

She snapped her eyes open and turned around to gaze at the lawyer who was standing beside her scrutinizing her, her eyes had turned purple but immediately went back to her normal light green color.

"You can go now... We don't have any other business together..." She warmly smiled at him before gazing at the door, she needed to get out of the place immediately, she didn't see the man, but with the case getting dissolved, she knew he was the one who had arranged everything.

"He is out there waiting for you, and there are some papers that need your signature..." He mumbled as he aligned his coat, the guy wasn't that old and probably the same age as that man from the Huo family.

"Okay, let's go...." She stretched her hand out elegantly ushering him to make a move, "Men first..." Her face was pasted with a smirk and the lawyer didn't know what her mind was up to, was she being sarcastic? But he walked forward taking the lead and she trailed from behind.

They got out of the iron gate and in a distance, she could see a long limousine, it was totally black with a number plate of 00000.

"Black again..." She softly muttered only audible to herself, this man seemed to like black.

"There it is, let's go...." The lawyer eyed her as they strode forward and arrived at the limousine, she yanked the door open and got inside roughly closing it.

She didn't say a single word, but rather lay on the empty seat while her head leaned on his thighs, she closed her eyes and fell asleep. She didn't need to be careful around him.

Huo Qi and the lawyer who were sitting from the other side, eyed their master worriedly but again wondered how a girl could fall asleep so easily with strangers and inside a stranger's car.

"Let's go over to the military hospital..." Huo Shen instructed them as he bent over and eyed the girl who was sleeping on his thighs. He didn't feel uncomfortable but rather, felt a slight relief all over his body.

"You didn't have a good night's sleep?" She stretched her hand out and held his on the wrist, it seemed like she was playing with it but Huo Shen could feel a warm current flowing through his veins and felt refreshed.

"Maybe you have mistaken..." He hoarsely mumbled before coughing, that warm current relieved his body, and he suddenly felt himself... His earlier languid body suddenly became alive.

"Ooohh..." She roughly hummed and went on sleeping, she hadn't opened her eyes, and she also went on holding his wrist as the limousine drove through the highway.

The lawyer had wanted to speak up seeing how she was behaving around their master, but Huo Qi stopped him.

He had seen her interacting with their master yesterday, and he didn't react nor have any allergy breakouts.
