Chapter 91: Terrible Story (Part 3) _2

"The symbiont is exploiting this emotion, which is why Stark is now incredibly inflamed..."

"Alright, no need to make it so complicated, just tell me, if I punch him now, I'm actually helping him to break free from the control of that alien creature, right?"

"Yes, it's a great thing, you can't just stand by as your nephew is controlled by such an evil creature, right? He should thank you!"

The moment Shiller's words trailed off, there came a dull thump of a shield from the other end, and Steve yelled, "Look here! I'm your uncle, no! Not yours, but that kid called Tony's!"

Shiller put down the phone and turned to Peter, saying, "Now you have two choices..."

"I choose to help the captain." Peter said quite definitively.

"Don't you want to consider it? Stark has been quite good to you, hasn't he?"

"But I feel it's my duty to help Mr. Stark get rid of the control of that evil alien creature." Peter said very obediently.

"Alright. They're on the easternmost main street of the Brooklyn District, Spiderman, the good neighbor, get ready to go."

S.H.I.E.L.D. and the military quickly realized just how much destruction could be caused when three superheroes started fight with each other.

Although Peter had said that, he didn't dare to use heavy hands. He mostly used spider silk to interfere with the movement of the Venom suit, but Steve wasn't polite, hitting Stark, who was wearing the Venom suit, dizzy with one shield after another.

It wasn't for no reason that Stark lost control. After Venom snatched away the box, it swallowed the fear gas inside in one gulp.

Stark couldn't control Venom when it was high. In simple terms, it was like an alien creature getting drunk and out of control. His host tried hard to control him but it was difficult enough to stop a crazy drunkard from the outside, let alone from the inside.

All Stark could do was to do his best to drag Venom to a less populated area. If Venom was allowed to go on a rampage in such a densely populated area as Brooklyn, who knew how many people would be injured?

Despite Captain America's relentless beating, Stark didn't have any deadly means, neither did the little spider. The military sent several armed helicopters straight away; their large-caliber machine guns continuously fired at Stark, clearly aiming to kill him. Sometimes Captain America had to shield Stark from the barrage of grenades. The fight went on for a while without a clear winner.

At this point, Shiller appeared on top of the nearest building with a strange shaped speaker. He spoke into the phone, "Jarvis, are you sure your emergency wake-up device can reach the decibel you mentioned?"

"Actually, it can be even higher, sir."

"No, there's no need. Didn't you use this kind of sound wave to expel the symbiont in Stark's body before?"

"Indeed, based on the symbiont's reaction at the time, I am confident that this will be an effective action."

"Alright, I'll leave first. As soon as I signal you, activate the emergency wake-up measures."

Shiller vanished instantly, having to keep his distance. After all, even Graymist was afraid of this thing.

Soon after, towering Stark, clad in a giant black battle suit, landed on the street. The armed helicopters behind him took turns firing, kicking up clouds of dust and debris. Captain America and Spider-Man trailing closely, tried everything they could to subdue this big guy.

Before Stark could hop out of the area, a huge blast of music came from the roof. To put it bluntly, this was no longer music, it was a sound weapon.

The whole ground was vibrating, and the black creature in the middle of the road started to shake violently. Suddenly, Stark let out a terrible scream and collapsed to the ground, returning to his human form. The black shadow flashed and vanished.

The surrounding armed forces immediately surrounded him, but Peter was even faster, he promptly snatched Stark away. By the time S.H.I.E.L.D. arrived, the man was gone, and so was the alien creature.

When the military saw that the people from S.H.I.E.L.D. were here, it immediately dawned on them that all of this might have been S.H.I.E.L.D.'s conspiracy.

It was no secret that the enmity between S.H.I.E.L.D. and the military had reached its peak. General Robert had even publicly accused Nick several times, could this be a setup by the cunning S.H.I.E.L.D. director, a plot to assassinate General Robert?

Nick had no response, but he believed that it was likely that the military had the alien creature. He had to pressure them to hand it over. Absolutely can't let them discover that this alien creature has Stark's memory and ability, otherwise, the military's expansion would be completely unstoppable.

When they heard that this thing is from S.H.I.E.L.D. and had killed one of their generals, the military of course didn't let them off. They demanded an explanation from S.H.I.E.L.D, but Nick, in order to protect the secret of the alien creature, didn't respond to anything, causing a stand-off between the two sides, with neither willing to back down.

Meanwhile, Shiller stood in a ward at the Elders Council Hospital. Beside him was Strange with his heavy, dark circles under his eyes. Shiller said to Doctor Connors who had just woken up, "Doctor, good news."
