“Forget about it. Let’s say that message wasn’t from Ms. Bam… I’ve left her unread for a few days already. There were around forty messages.”
“Damn… That’s rough.” Madame Fon chuckled. “I’m not sure whether it was persistence or concussion that made her try so hard with you.”
“She normally sends me pictures and videos. It’s like she’s trying to start a conversation. Even my family’s group chat isn’t as active as this.”
After speaking with a tired tone, Joke started to leave the shop and leave Madame Fon to dryly laugh behind him. The Madame knew that there was an extremely high chance that the girl called Bam would end up disappointed. From the look of it, Joke would never reciprocate her. Even worse, his head was probably filled with cards.
“So, where are you going?”
“I’m going to get something to eat. I think I’ll be heading home for today since it looks like others aren’t coming.”
“Oh… Right,” Madame Fon said as she slightly narrowed her eyes. “Okay. See you tomorrow, then.”
