Chapter 278 : Brick

Orion now was really confused, things seemed to go out of his hands, leaving Besides the fact that he ain't forgotten what Hermione said to him, what was more important for him was to decide whether to believe what she said.

Did she really have a change of heart or want to apologise for what happened? Orion doesn't think so, especially when he found that same issue with her shadow which he found in that girl Morgan.

"Sigh, if only that old man was here," Orion mutters with clear irritation on his face, he himself sometimes doesn't understand how much he used to rely on Merlin being there for him.

"Whatever, now that the first challenge is done, it's time to work on the plan, need to find a way to bring that old man back, my headache is better than before now so let's act." Orion mutters under his breath as he tries to distract himself from the strange things happening around him and focus on bringing Merlin back.

That was the most important for him right now, but again the problem was HOW?

How he supposed to bring back that old man, he already tried opening a portal back to the fate world but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't open the portal back to that world.

It was like something was stopping him from going back, he was no idiot he knew that dimensional travel is no small thing, there are some strong entities who don't like intrusion in their dimension.

Upon not getting any way to go back to the fate world, Orion just had to find a way to pull back Merlin from that world without going there. The master seal still on his left hand was an option but no matter how he tried, he couldn't seem to use it.

'I need to find a way,' Orion pondering his roam around the corridors of Hogwarts at night, he was going to the restriction section of the library to find anything on dimensional travel, he hardly believed that he gonna find anything in there but still, giving it a look doesn't hurt not does it?

[Orion POV]

"Yup, this was nothing more than a time waste." I can't help but complain to myself, I spend hours at the restricted section but nothing, though I wasn't expecting to get anything in there anyway, it's just that I have no lead right now to go about bringing Merlin back, I am working on this even before tri-tournament and yet I got nothing.

Sighing I can't help but only return back to the room of requirement, that was my go-to place for both working and sleeping nowadays anyway, I can't even remember the last time I went back to the dorm at this point.

But just before I was about to enter the room of requirement again to test different magic to open the portal or use some sort of magic to summon that old man here from the fate world, I suddenly remembered something.

Something which made me pause just outside the gate of a room of requirement. Because while thinking about Merlin I remember something.

I quickly took out my pendant and recalled what happened last year. 

"That place and that brick" I can't help but mutter to myself when I recall what I found last year. 

While searching for those damn vampires, I found that place.

"Maybe…"

I can't help but wonder to myself, I had a feeling that maybe that place could get me some answers.

After all that strange brick kind of reacted to his pendant, I never said this to Merlin, in fact, I myself forgot all about it after coming back to Hogwarts and all the other shits happening around me.

I can't help but purse my lips at this, finally, there was a lead, there was a way, thought it was fetched at best but it was unavoidable that that brick really reacted to my pendant and this pendant was something related to Merlin.

Maybe this will work, not like I got any other way. I ponder and knowing that I got no other way, I just sigh and get inside the room of requirement.

I took that brick with me to check what that brick is about and why it reacted Like it did to my pendant back then, good thing that I did.

Upon entering three the room of requirement I directly summon the brick which I hid here, the reason being that that brick wasn't getting stored on my pendant. Now that I think about it, I should have checked on the brick back then.

Sigh, I am too busy no matter which year I am talking about, and the majority of this time goes behind preventing that Bastard nick from doing anything to Rose or Daphne, other I don't care much.

But now that I have the power to back up what happens if he dies, I should just get rid of him.

Sigh, too much work…

After searching a little around the room of requirement, I finally found the brick.

Hid inside a box and the moment I opened that box, I again dse the phenomenon which happened last year.

My pendant vibrated and shone a little with magic unknown to me, even felt like it was tugging me towards the brick like a magnet getting attracted to another magnet.

'Hmm… okay, then I finally got the brick, now what ?'

I pondered and was about to use some common spells to see what was so special about the brick and if those didn't work then ancient magic but before I even do I that, a little carving started to appear on the brick, forming a very similar looking form as my pendant.

"Never mind" I just rolled my eyes and took out my pendant to place it at the bric but then suddenly I stopped, pursing my lips I just took out all my money which I had in there, it wasn't just money but almost all the valuable things I had was in the pendant so just in case.

Only now that I realized how convient this pendant is, because it always filled the room of requirement with one hand other things I stol…*cough*cough* Aquire..

Finally was ready to place the pendant in the brick, honestly didn't wanted, placing my pendant on an unknown magical artefact was stupid as best but can't help it, this might be the only way to get back to Merlin.

With that in mind I finally place the pendant at the brick…

And then light emit for the brick…
