This was his new home, and he was actually quite satisfied with it. After removing his costume, Henry plopped onto the sofa and groaned in relief, "That is it for today. I will leave tomorrow night." Since he was wanted by two dangerous organizations, Henry decided to work only at night while sleeping during the day, becoming nocturnal, which he didn't mind one bit. After sleeping through most of the day, Henry woke up just to brush his teeth, but while he was brushing, he stopped. "Hmm, maybe I should invent a potion that cleans my teeth," he thought to himself before continuing to brush. After that, he put back on his weights, which he still wore, and their effects were showing. Henry, who used to be lean with little muscle definition, was now quite ripped, with a six-pack and big biceps.

This was mainly due to the combination of the strength tonic, which increased his muscles for 10 minutes. Since he drank it so much and so frequently, his muscles started to develop and adapt, plus the weights he always carried and the boxing training he did in his daily routine. The effect of those combinations was becoming evident, giving him the appearance and power of someone who had been working out regularly.

Chapter 12

After he was done checking on all his plants and harvesting the ones that were ready, he went to restock his potions, especially the ones used for growing his plants, which he then watered them with. Finally, he went back to his room where he pulled up several texts, blueprints, peer-reviewed papers, and such. The topic he was beginning to read was robotics, engineering, and mechanics. After he took the drone from Hammer and was forced to flee into the wilderness, one of the things he managed to recover was the drone, which had more damage. After taking it apart, Henry learned little to nothing from it, which made him realize how stupid and greedy he had been.

He had been so focused on the potential that making his alchemical robots had that he forgot he knew nothing about robotics, and since he was already in the wilderness, he couldn't go on the internet and learn from it. So he was forced to put that project on halt, but since he has returned to civilization, he decided to resume the project by learning every subject related to robotics from the start, elementary. Of course, he had a potion to help study, which was a purple potion he was just drinking.

With a 50% increase in memory, brain activity, and relaxation, Henry progressed quite far into his studies, absorbing knowledge like a sponge for the next 20 minutes at least, until he decided to pop another potion. "Gosh, do I love popping potions," he laughed as he continued. "Hhhmmm," he then pondered as he remembered something. "That's right, I purchased that Steel Serpent drug that just got into the market." As someone who wanted to be in the drug market, he of course had to scout the competition, and the one that has taken the world by storm was this new drug, which was pure heroin. But Henry could tell that there was something mixed in.

"Well, there is a way to find out," he thought as he then got up to get said drug, which was white. "Right, it's advertised as pure heroin," he mused as he then turned the powder into a liquid, which allowed him to see the information on the drug, which actually surprised him, as the thing that the Steel Serpent was made of.

"Well shit, they used actual dragon bones for a fucking drug." It was safe to say that Henry was pissed. As someone who is currently scrambling to get special materials, searching everywhere, yet this fucking group was using actual dragon bones for a high. "Well, it's actually quite addictive," he pondered as he then played with the liquid version of the drug. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. "Hmm, maybe I could try and extract the powdered bone from it," he wondered as he then thought of a way to do so.

-scene change-

It was in the middle of the night, where the moon had barely managed to shine through. Henry could be seen walking down the side of the street as he spoke on the phone. He was, of course, wearing his costume. "A deal is a deal. I give you Orchid, you distribute it through your clubs, and we split the money," he argued with someone. However, his argument didn't last long as, from the corner of his eye, he saw a car without lights approaching, causing him to groan. "You gotta be kidding me," he thought as he speed-walked into an alleyway. The car windows opened as an actual AK peeked through the windows before they opened fire.

"Where are you, Alchemist? Hhhhh," the shooter yelled as more shots were fired towards him, breaking the glass window behind Henry as he ran to take cover from the guns. Henry then took out his Glock, which was also disassembled and enhanced by him, giving the gun some effects.

The moment he fired his gun, not only was the gun not as noisy, he actually hit the shooter dead in the chest, which caused a hole to appear in his chest. "Ay, AJ is dead! Drive, drive, drive!" the other passenger yelled, and the driver listened by driving away. However, Henry wasn't willing to let them go as he shot after them, aiming for the tires, which he shot out, causing the car to swerve and hit the next building, crashing. Henry then approached the car, which started to smoke as the shooters began to crawl out, all bloody. But that's when someone stood over them. As they looked up, they saw Henry standing over them. "Hey, ah, Alchemist. You, ah, don't have to do this, man—" but Henry wasn't willing to listen as he shot the driver in the head, blowing a hole through his skull. Suddenly, a large number of gunshots, jet engines, and tanks could be heard.
