He must leave

"Send him away; I hate him," Lily's father, the king of Lutua, told Lily.

"Father, why? He just came here three days ago," Lily, in astonishment at his father's statement, asked him.

"He must leave; he can't be my son-in-law."

"Father, why this hatred?"

"He's not of royal blood. And again, he is too handsome—all women's men

"Please, father, let him stay; I love him. His fortification comes up next tomorrow."

"Young woman I neither care about your love for him nor his fortification. He has to leave by dawn tomorrow."

Lily couldn't dialogue with her father anymore because he had stamped his statement. You do not plead when the terror himself, Latua King, has altered his last speech. She just has to leave his presence. Very sad… "How can I send Adrain, my love, away a day to his fortification?" This was all the question she was asking herself as she left her father.

Adrain: "You look worried. What is the matter, my love?"

Lily: "my father."

Adrian: "Father... What happened to him? Please, I want to know."

Lily: "My love, you must leave tomorrow."

In shock at what his woman, Lily said, Adrian could not choose whether to remain speechless or alter a statement. "But… why… this? Have I offended you or the king?" Asked Adrian. 

"No, you haven't," replied Lily.

"Then why send me back to my world? I came here for fortification, but it hasn't been done. Why didn't you allow me to stay back in my world?"

Laying her hands on his shoulder, Lily said, "My love, there's something you just need to understand. My father, the king, doesn't want you; you aren't of royal blood. And again, he said you were too handsome. All the women will want you, and you can't be a woman's man."

"How I wish our parts wouldn't have crossed. Now I will be heartbroken more than ever before," said Adrain.

"You do not have to say that, dear; I'm not with my father, but with you in this. No matter the flood, my feelings for you will never be swept away."

"But this will be a failed mission if I don't get fortified," said Adrian.

"You are right, my love. How I wish there's an alternative. My father is not a man who will ever swallow his words; I know him too well. By dawn tomorrow, you have to leave; otherwise,  your life is at stake. If we are really meant to be, the gods will find a way for us to overcome.

"Can I just go see the king?" Adrian asked.

"You can't, dear. It's an abomination to go talk to the king over a stamped discussion. If you try it, I will lose you; you will be decapitated. Please don't dare."

"I'm just afraid that if I return empty to the world, the demonic prince will devour me immediately."

"I think I have an idea of what to do. This very night we must go for a temporary fortification, which can cover you for the next three months. Thereafter, we can get the permanent one done. What do you think?"

"Nice Idea… At least I won't be afraid of the prince as I return home.

It's already about 7:00 p.m., and they both begin preparation to go visit the town of the 13 stars, 3 km away from Lutua, for the temporary fortification. "Let's be fast so we can go and come back on time. You need to have some rest before you leave by dawn tomorrow," said Lily.

"I'm almost done, darling. I only need to put on my jacket; it's extremely cold."

They got fully prepared and boarded a vehicle for the town of 13 stars.

"No one talks in the forticatin room. Once we reach there, all you need to do is pull off your shoes, then match the ostrich feather on the floor with your right foot. Once you do that, you are already fortified for the next three months," said Lily.

"Noted," said Adrian.

Now, they entered the town of 13 stars, where fortification will be done. They matched towards the fortification room. Adrian confirmed Lily's earlier warning. No one talks among the men entering and coming out of the room. Adrain forewarned, pulled off his shoes, and joined the queue of those going in. He patiently waited and eventually got inside; his turn finally came. He matched the ostrich feather with his right foot. Instantly, he felt a warm sensation from his foot up to the crown of his head, signifying the infusion of power in him.

He wore his shoes and came out. "Thanks, sweetie. I'm now bold enough."

"It's alright; I will do anything for you, babe," said Lily. They boarded a vehicle and went back home.

"Good night dear, Lily said as she was about to enter her room. "Good night," Adrain replied, and he went into the guest room where he was staying.

Very early, at about 3:00 am, Lily got up and went to Adrain's room. "Oh, I can see you are already awake and getting set.

"Yeah, I want to beat time."I neither want you nor myself to disobey the king's order.

"That's nice, babe," said Lily.

In the midst of these struggles, the two lovers intimacy still exists. Their lips were quickly drawn to each other by force of attraction. They passionately kissed.

"Let me go; it's almost 4:00am," said Adrian. He picked up his bag, and they both began to walk hand in hand to board a vehicle.

"I will miss you for a while, Adrian. It won't be easy to cope without your presence."

"I will miss you more, dear. How I wish we could both go back to my world, but now it's just a wish.

"When you reach, please give this flower to mom. My warm regards to her. Tell her I will soon visit the earth."

"Thanks, sweetie; that's so thoughtful of you."

Now Adrian has boarded the spacecraft. Their craft took off, and as Lily waved him good-bye, she couldn't hold back her emotions. Tears ran down from her eyes.
