Walking in the dark woods, Gu Fan struggled to suppress his fear. To do this, he looked around while whistling, a performance that Su Hui hiding on the side deemed lousy.

"Hello, is anyone there? Can you blood-sucking lot hear my call?" After Gu Fan shouted a few times, the woods fell silent again, as if danger lurked all around.

Gu Fan steadied himself and then called out again, "Are you still alive? I've got fresh blood here. If you're not full yet, feel free to come have a taste."

Suddenly, a bird dived down from the trees and darted past Gu Fan, startling him.

"That was close, that was close. Luckily it was just a bird." Gu Fan patted his chest, trying to calm himself, then he glanced in the direction the bird had flown, feeling eerily creeped out.
