Chapter 39: One Against Three

The largest haunted house in the amusement park, its only haunted house and by far the most popular attraction. Many self-proclaimed brave individuals have been scared out of their wits in this attraction, which is even highly recommended online.

Gu Fan knew about this haunted house. He had been inside once and knew that it drew a large crowd, but it felt particularly crowded today. It seemed as if everyone was heading towards the haunted house, almost separating Gu Fan and Su Hui in the process.

Although Gu Fan and Su Hui tried not to get separated, plenty of people made it difficult. With a sea of bodies obstructing their view, the young couple was nowhere in sight. The suspicious men tailing them had also disappeared.

Knowing that something must be done, Gu Fan tugged Su Hui's sleeve, indicating that they should take a new path away from the haunted house.
