Marquis Mu Houchu turned his head to look at Ji Xinhe, who lightly glared at Ah Guai and said, "You talk too much."
When Ji Xinhe scolded her, Ah Guai wasn't scared at all. Instead, she giggled and whispered into Marquis Mu Houchu's ear, "Mother is shy."
Mu Houchu smiled and pinched her little nose, "You know she's shy, and you still talk? Go in the room first."
Ah Guai immediately rolled off Marquis Mu Houchu like a little mudskipper and winked at Ji Xinhe before pattering into the room with her tiny feet.
Mu Houchu took two steps closer to Ji Xinhe and spoke softly, "I heard you missed me a lot?"
Ji Xinhe turned her head away and said, "I didn't miss you."
Mu Houchu wrapped his arm around her and pulled her into his embrace, burying his head into her neck, "But I missed you very much. What should I do?"
Ji Xinhe mumbled, "How would I know?"
Mu Houchu could tell from her tone that his little wife was probably angry again.
