"Cassie Athena Morgan," Theo greeted Cassie with a smile as she entered his room.
Cassie stood there, unable to move, just staring at him. He sat back down and gave her a serious look.
What's with him?
Cassie shook her head in disbelief and let out a sigh.
"I feel like I've heard your name somewhere before," he said, his frown deepening.
His words had already unsettled her.
"You're sitting again, Mr. Smith," Cassie replied, stepping closer to him. She could sense Orly following behind her, but she didn't pay any attention to it anymore.
"I can handle my own body, Doc. I've been through situations like this a few times, but this one was definitely the worst," he said, acting as if he was the only one who had almost died because of what had happened to him.
Once again, Cassie shook her head at him. "Perhaps you should be more cautious, Mr. Smith," she said, her words laced with concern as she glanced at the ventilator monitor.
