An Unexpected Bond

"You'll see when the time comes," Elder Bomen said with a mysterious smile, then changed the subject. "They should be coming out now."

With a wave of his hand, Amalia and Kenny Lin opened their eyes. They didn't have time to talk about the formation insights they had gained before being transported out.

For a moment, everything went dark, and when it brightened again, they saw Elder Bomen and Tan Kai standing before them.

"Are you interested in learning formations with me?" Elder Bomen asked directly.

Amalia was taken aback. "Are you talking to us?"

"Is there anyone else here?" Elder Bomen replied.

Amalia looked at Tan Kai, who was smiling. She then said, "I've already taken a master, so I'm afraid I can't learn formations with you."
