I hummed, grabbing the small notebook from the bank employee and thanking them, looking down at the checkbook.
Three million, nine hundred thousand Yen for a first-grade curse... Damn.
I hummed.
"Yeah, I know just what to do with this..."
I smirked, folding the checkbook and putting it in my pocket.
Bitcoin. Of course, I would buy Bitcoin... In two years.
Because right now, it is 2006, and no bitcoin has existed yet, and I wasn't knowledgable enough to invent it myself.
But first, I needed to get a driver's license... I wanted to buy a motorcycle.
Walking out of the bank, I had one destination.
"Are you done?"
Apparently, I had multiple destinations.
I looked over to the side, where Shoko was waiting for me. Why? She was dragging me to the mall to "Help" me spend my first paycheck.
Yeah, I totally believed that...
No cap.
"I could have gone to the mall on my own, you know?"
I sighed, walking closer, and looking down at the shorter girl with a raised eyebrow.
"It's boring, though, isn't it?"
She hummed, and I shrugged, my eyes trailing to the side, eyeing the badly disguised Gojo peeking out of the corner.
I'm just gonna... Ignore that...
"Alright then."
I shrugged, looking back to Shoko.
"Come on, I know a few good shops."
I obediently followed. Not really know any good places to buy clothes in Tokyo, since I rarely left the School ever since I came here.
After leading me through a complicated road consisting of turns, a lot, of turns, we were finally at the Mall...
I stared up at the large building for a moment... Eh, I've seen bigger.
Following her into it, We made our way to an... Emo shop? What the hell was this? As Shoko was about to walk inside, I grabbed her by the back of her collar and dragged her away.
"Nope."
Hearing a faint snicker coming from her I sent her a glare.
"Where is a sports shop?"
I asked and she just pointed to the second floor.
Letting go of her collar, I followed her up the escalator, looking around absently to see if anything was interesting, blatantly ignoring the disguised Gojo that was spying on us.
What the hell was this? An anime? Get a life, dude, you're not even a girl to do that.
I wonder how Akira is doing right now...
-Akira POV-
I was... Awkward.
My eyes stayed locked on the window it was, after all, made out of a window.
It was a nice window.
Very good window.
It was such a good window, that it gave me the ability to see the girl that was sitting next to me, without even looking at her directly.
I was not staring, no, that would be rude...
And I am rude, but still...
This is a good window.
-Kaito POV-
I'm sure he is being a menace right now.
"Here we are..."
I snapped back to reality as Shoko spoke, and looked to the front, the sports shop in sight. Humming, I walked inside, absently looking around.
Spotting my target, I walked to the rack where compression shirts were located.
Grabbing three, I looked at the size, it was medium, just what I needed.
"More compression shirts?"
I shrugged, folding the two black short-sleeved and one white long-sleeved compression shirt's over my forearm.
Great, now I needed some running shoes...
"Alright, I'll get some running shoes and..."
The running shoes were extended in front of me before I could even finish. Looking down at them, I hummed, exactly my size...
"How did you know my size?
Shoko shrugged as I grabbed the shoes from her and turned to the cashier to pay for them.
As soon as the items were in the bags, my forearm was grabbed, and Shoko was dragging me out of the shop, and I allowed her. I was practically done shopping for myself anyway.
___
I looked down at the bags in my hands, my expression blank, a single question on my mind...
"I only bought three items, so the three bags are understandable... Right?"
Shoko hummed, turning to me with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah?"
I nodded, looking at her with a deadpan.
"Where did the other five come from?"
She smirked, taking out a cigarette and putting it in between my lips, and taking one for herself too.
Holding up a lighter for me. I lit the end of my cigarette, exhaling the smoke, and leaned down when she motioned me with her hand.
I raised an eyebrow when she pressed the end of her cigarette to mine, smirking as the smoke was blown into my face.
Was she teasing me for the last time?
Chuckling, I moved the four bags in my right hand to my left and took the cigarette from my lips.
"Cheeky one, aren't you?"
She just smirked back at me.
