"Now that Dr. Mobius has made up her mind, you can leave."
Gray Snake let out a long breath. He knew that the World Snake had failed to gain anything from this deal, but he was not ready to give up hope.
He had two reasons to be optimistic:
First, the Lord had given his consent to this arrangement;
Second, the heroes were unlikely to be fooled by anyone, and the only reason they would persuade Dr. Mobius to abandon the stigmata plan was if they had a better alternative.
Gray Snake looked at Luo Mo, who seemed to be an ordinary person. He wondered what secrets he was hiding.
"Mr. Luo, raven, has requested an audience with you," Gray Snake announced, his voice echoing slightly in the vast room.
Upon delivering his message, Gray Snake shifted his weight onto his back foot, preparing to take his leave. His silhouette, tall and imposing, was outlined against the dim light filtering through the room's only window.
However, just as he was about to step away, a voice rang out, stopping him in his tracks. It was Mobius, her voice carrying a hint of amusement that was mirrored in the playful glint in her snake pupils.
"Gray Snake, Kevin… Come out soon." she called out, her voice echoing in the in Gray Snake Head.
Gray Snake paused at her words, but he did not turn around. Instead, he responded in a steady voice, "… Yes, Doctor."
"I'll be the one to take Klein," Mobius continued, her tone leaving no room for argument.
"Understood. We will arrange for someone else to oversee the affairs related to the Elysian realm," Gray Snake finally conceded, his voice firm and resolute.
As long as it didn't interfere with their core plan, the World Serpent was willing to lend a hand to the former civilization of Heroes. They had a common goal, after all.
Regarding the matter of the Exalted Lord, it was already too late for them to intervene. The core, the crux of their plan, was likely already in the Exalted Lord's possession.
With his parting words hanging in the air, Gray Snake turned on his leg and strode away, his figure gradually fading until he was completely swallowed by the shadows of the corridor.
"Did you catch that? Mice, Kevin is coming out!" The words echoed in the room, a hint of anticipation lacing the speaker's voice.
Mobius responded in a light, almost nonchalant tone, "If you're planning to visit again, be prepared. It won't be as easy as this time."
Luo Mo, who had been silent until now, suddenly found himself contemplating a daring idea. His mind was racing, thoughts colliding and forming new ones at a rapid pace.
Out of the blue, he turned to Elysia, who was standing next to him, and asked her an unexpected question. "Elysia, do you think it would be a safer bet to have Mei accompany us the next time?"
Elysia looked at him, a puzzled expression on her face. She seemed to be trying to decipher the meaning behind his words. After a moment, realization dawned on her and she quickly waved her hands in dismissal.
"No, no, Luo Mo," she said, her voice firm. "Having the same face doesn't mean we will treat others as familiar faces. Believe me, Kevin won't be swayed by Raiden Mei's appearance."
"But I don't think it's going to make much of a difference either way," Luo Mo replied, his tone serious, his gaze unwavering. He was determined to see his plan through, no matter what the outcome might be.
"No, Kevin certainly won't be swayed by such trivial matters!" Elysia declared, her tone filled with conviction and a sense of righteousness.
Despite her confident assertion, Luo Mo found himself harboring doubts. He couldn't help but remain skeptical, his mind filled with thoughts and speculations.
He found himself reflecting on the original plot development, where Kevin had shown a interest in having Raiden Mei work for him. (not really)
and pink woman who likes to touch people's private things,
With this thought in mind, Luo Mo turned to Elysia and asked, "Elysia, you wouldn't happen to have any interest in Mei, would you?"
"Wait, what? How could anyone be attracted to the horns on someone else's head?" Elysia responded, her tone frank yet laced with surprise.
Even as she spoke, her eyes darted around, as if seeking something. When she realized she had been caught, she quickly averted her gaze, returning to her previous state of staring straight ahead.
"Moreover, we're both girls! How could that even be a possibility? Don't you trust the lovely Elysia??" she added, her tone filled with a mix of disbelief and playful accusation.
Luo Mo, however, remained silent. He simply frowned at Elysia, his expression thoughtful, as he continued to ponder over the situation.
Caught under Luo Mo's scrutinizing gaze, Elysia felt cornered. She had no choice but to respond, her voice carrying a hint of helplessness.
"Alright, I understand what you're getting at," she conceded, her tone laced with resignation. "I will accompany you the next time. But in return, you have to promise me something. Don't make things difficult for our lovely pink Elf lady, okay?"
Her words hung in the air, She hoped Luo Mo would agree to her terms.
Elysia was a little depressed, sure enough, she still wasn't good at lying!
But, it's okay, it's inevitable for pretty girls to make mistakes too!!!?
....
"Mr. Luo, how about it, let's shake hands and make peace?" Raven proposed, her gaze steady as he looked at Luo Mo. her voice was calm, belying the significance of his proposition.
Having observed the alliance between the Heroes and Luo Mo, Raven had come to a realization. She understood that the World Serpent's antagonistic stance towards Luo Mo was likely to diminish in the future. The shifting dynamics were not lost on him.
After all, having numerous allies was far more beneficial than having numerous adversaries. This was a simple truth that Raven understood well.
Moreover, neither side had suffered any significant losses in their previous encounters.
"Shake hands and make peace? I see no harm in that," Luo Mo responded, his tone thoughtful. He hadn't forgotten their past confrontations, particularly that one incident. However, he also recognized the value of having ravens in the production of his game.
"If you're comfortable with your likeness being featured in my game," Luo Mo added, his voice casual as if the matter was of little consequence.
Raven clear? He'll make it in the game when he gets back.
Raven - Pacing (top) (T)
Raven - rolling around (middle) (M)
Raven - Crying Out (bottom) (B)
Three stigmata, and cranking them up to the most versatile values so more sets can hitch them loose.
When you wake up, raven, you'll realize that everything has changed.
You'll realize that the world is no longer a good place for you, and all those mundane routines will be gone for good.
But don't give up, never give up.
In the future, your name will resound, and your great name will be known to no one!
Wait for death, Raven, the death of your society!
With a resigned sigh, Raven posed a rhetorical question, "Would it make any difference if I refused? Besides, haven't you already made an appearance in the promotional video?"
Luo Mo, not missing a beat, retorted decisively, "Since you don't seem to mind me using your image 'slightly', I'd say we're on equal footing!"
Following this exchange, the two of them extended their hands towards each other. Under the watchful eyes of all the Heroes present, they shook hands, a clear indication that they had put their differences aside and reached a reconciliation.
Raven's gaze swept over the Heroes assembled before her, her eyes reflecting a myriad of emotions. She was taken aback by the sheer number of Heroes present. Despite having seen many during her training sessions, she hadn't expected to encounter such a large gathering outside of that context.
Suddenly, a voice filled with awe and admiration broke the silence. "Wow, who knew the World Serpent had such a cute girl among them?" It was Elysia, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Raven.
This unexpected attention made Raven feel slightly uncomfortable. She shifted under Elysia's gaze, unsure of how to react.
Luo Mo, noticing the exchange, chimed in with a simple explanation, "She's a cadre of the World Serpent." His words served to provide some context to Elysia's enthusiastic outburst.
"Hmm… So?" Elysia's voice trailed off, her confusion evident. She was struggling to grasp the meaning behind Luo Mo's words.
"Ellie, what he's trying to say is that this successor has journeyed to the Elysian realm," Eden clarified, standing next to her. She was relieved to see that Elysia still had some recollection of Raven, who had recently made a trip to the Elysian realm.
"Hello, Eden," Raven responded, nodding in acknowledgment of Eden's greeting.
"Wait, she's been to the Elysian realm? But why haven't I seen her there before? That doesn't make sense!" Elysia exclaimed, her eyes wide with surprise. She moved closer to Raven, scrutinizing her. If such a beautiful girl had been in the Elysian realm, how could she have possibly missed her?
Luo Mo, sensing Elysia's confusion, offered a suggestion. "Raven, try putting on the hood."
Raven looked at him, a helpless expression on her face. "Is that really necessary?" she asked, already knowing the answer. "Alright, alright, I'll put it on."
With that, Raven reached for the hood that was hanging behind her. As she put it on, her appearance changed dramatically. She was no longer the beautiful girl they had been talking to. Instead, she transformed into a mercenary, shrouded in the darkness of the night. The black brim of the hood concealed her face in shadows, and the cloak hid her figure.
Elysia gasped in surprise. ""Wow, still, still!, is that really you!?" she asked, an awkward smile playing on her lips.
Seeing Raven in this outfit jogged her memory. She remembered seeing a figure always dressed in black during battles. She had assumed that it couldn't possibly be a pretty young girl. How wrong she had been!
"If there's nothing else, I'll leave first, there's still a mission to accomplish!" Raven declared. With those parting words, she vanished from sight, as if she had never been there.
"Well, mice, the goodbyes are done, and Hua has taken over," Mobius announced, her voice echoing in the room as she slowly approached the group
"The time has come for us to embark on our journey. It's a perfect opportunity to witness the most formidable power of this century," she added, a hint of anticipation in her voice.
Luo Mo, however, seemed uncertain. "Is the Doctor so confident that I've aligned myself with Schicksal?" he questioned.
Mobius looked at Luo Mo, her expression one of disbelief. "Did you really have any other options? After making a move like that?" she retorted impatiently. "Come on, let's go, the World Serpent's been around long enough!"
Elysia, her face lit up with excitement, chimed in, "Absolutely! Let's embark on the first stop of the Pink Elf Group Tour." Her long pink hair fluttered as she held up a small horn(or loudspeaker?), and a small red flag. She looked every bit the part of a tour guide.
However, a moment of confusion crossed her face. "Hmm… Where was our first stop again?" she asked, looking slightly embarrassed.
"... The Far East Demon Cave - St. Freya."
"Eh! I'm not going to any Demon Cave!?"
"But, there are a lot of pretty girls there!"
"... Well, Pink Elf-sama can think about it!?"
