The two men were confused by Eldric's sudden request, but they believed him nonetheless. He may have already made suitable plans, and as the House's caretaker and elder, they had only to obey. Both nodded their heads, and orders were relayed quickly to the other knights and civilians.

Eldric had already done that, which he wanted to discuss. After he made a few rounds around the House, he was about to head back into the cavern when a report came through—the scouts had returned.

Eldric, out of curiosity, once more headed into the House, and there, all the elders gathered. They had already discussed the information in the report.

Eldric greeted them when he arrived, and without any further moment to waste, he asked, "So? What have the scouts gathered?"
