"Are you saying that you released the member of The Blue Blood Pack you captured just to convey a declaration of war?"

Looking at Harrison's triumphant expression, I shook my head in confusion.

"I don't understand, Harrison."

"Since Nathan Barnes is a member of The Blue Blood Pack, I'm confident that he will respond to the declaration."

Harrison stared into my eyes, his face showing a subtle and complex emotion.

"He already sees me as his opponent and enemy. He can't resist refusing my declaration."

I knew exactly what Harrison was referring to. After learning about Nathan's identity, I also understood the meaning behind his words before he left. He was already envisioning how he would command the force of The Blue Blood Pack once he gained power.

I didn't want to witness my old friend and my love turn against each other, and I sighed.
