Chapter 45: Meeting the Eagle again

A member of Odrick's crew stood at the top of the ship's mast, observing his surroundings with a single-lens binoculars, his sharp eyes looking in all directions carefully so as not to miss anything.

A simple mistake can lead to the sinking of their ship or an encounter with one of the enemy ships.

This person was Damien and he is one of the few people that Odrick included in his organization along with Arthur.

Damien had a strange shape so that his eye sockets were sticking out of his face, which gave him a 180-degree diameter vision, his thin flattened head and Small Mouth made his facial expressions funny, but his body was huge and a little wide like a tuna fish.

Damian removed the binoculars from his eye after finding their surroundings safe and there are no dangers near them.

He raised his head and began to contemplate the clear blue sky, which gave him a slight feeling of relaxation, suddenly he saw a black dot flying towards him.

At first he thought that his eyes were deceiving him, but after a few twans he found that the strange shape had become larger, as he approached them to show his full form.

A giant eagle flew towards them without showing any sign of stopping, the Eagle's brown wings that reached a length of about five meters each and its huge wide body blocked the sun from Damian's sight.

As soon as Damien understood what was going on, he screamed at the top of his voice:

"Danger on the east side, everyone prepare for a collision!"

As soon as the crew heard the warning cry, they raised their heads to find that the Eagle had approached them with its eyes focused towards the back sail, what the crew did not realize was that Arthur was standing behind the sail, hiding from their sight.

"What is this stupid bird doing!" due to the severity of Arthur's shock, he could not help but suddenly scream, but the signs of surprise began to disappear from his face when he found that the eagle was still flying towards him at an insane speed.

"Daaamn!" Arthur jumped quickly, avoiding the Giant Eagle, which slammed hard into the back sail, causing a complete mess.

Arthur flew for a few seconds in the air before he descended and put his foot on the edge of the ship, due to the movement of the eagle whose eyes the sail top covered the ship moved violently causing Arthur to slip and fall into the water.

Arthur pulled his head out of the water while the veins on his face were writhing from the intensity of anger.

'I'm going to roast this damn bird!' he swam slowly and clung to the rudder of the ship to lift his body out of the water and jump to the deck.

The ship continued its violent bobbing as Odrick and the crew surrounded the wildly moving eagle and expressions of bewilderment filled their faces, none of them knew how to behave in this situation.

Suddenly feeling a damp hand touching his back, Odrick turned to find Arthur standing behind him with his wet hair covering his face in a funny sight.

Odrick put a serious expression on his face and said in a low voice:

"What are we going to do with this bird, Boss?" Odrick no longer calls Arthur master, but began to call him boss as a kind of respect and a demonstration of his status.

"Free him first and then we'll see what we do with him" Arthur said These Simple Words and left, heading towards the captain's room, the dialogue between Odrick and Arthur was so low that no crew member noticed the presence of someone other than them on deck.

The Fish-men moved quietly and began to untie the ropes that had wrapped around the Eagle, because of his random movement everywhere the sail ropes wrapped around him and made him shackled.

After he was freed the Eagle stood on the deck while there was a stupid look on his face, he checked the men standing around but did not find his master who had previously taken care of him.

After checking them for some time and making sure that there was no one who wanted him, he flapped his huge wings and flew into the sky, because of his violent movement the ship swayed strongly again.

The Eagle did not leave, but continued to fly over the ship, following them to their next destination.

After returning to the captain's room, changing his clothes and drying his hair, Arthur headed towards the eagle to find out the truth of what was going on.

After inspecting the deck and finding that the whole crew was busy repairing the broken sail, he jumped into the air and made a few geppo jumps to reach the height of the Eagle, despite of Arthur's high power, flying high is still something that greatly strains his feet.

Whistle!

The Eagle saw Arthur heading towards him then a happy expression appeared on his face as he flapped his wing to approach Arthur.

'Hmmm, has something happened to him!'

When Arthur saw the Eagle's body, he found that its tail feathers were completely missing, and there was a large bloody wound on its right wing, in addition to many old scars, the wound on its wing did not heal completely, so Arthur concluded that he had suffered it during this week.

'This explains his inability to land properly' with a small sigh Arthur's angry expression softened, and he jumped over the Eagle's back and calmly sat down while the wind caressed his hair.

"You really are a loyal bird, you've been waiting for me all this time." sighed Arthur as he looked at the horizon in front of him with Misty glances.

[ A week later ]

Odrick's ship sailed through treacherous waters while dozens of small islands surrounded them, which rose high like giant wedges.

Arthur, who stood above the mast of the ship, looking at the giant strange waterfall in front of him, felt some anxiety and hesitation.

'My goal from coming to Wano was to train in secret while I raise my strength, but now after meeting Odrick I got a lot of gains, I learned Fish-men karate and learned the basics of Armament Haki, not to mention creating the foundation for my organization.'

'Hmmm, I shouldn't get cocky just because I've achieved several successes in a short time, I think hiding for more time is a necessary thing as Wano is a good place to gather some followers.'

A small smile appeared on Arthur's face as he removed the anxiety and hesitation in his heart. His main fear was to be discovered by Kaidou but he has a plan to avoid this difficult enemy.

When Odrick's ship approached the giant waterfalls that lead to Wano Country, she changed course and swam away from the island.

In the sky of Wano Country a giant eagle flew while Arthur was sitting on his back, wanwa's entry was an easy thing with the presence of the eagle so Arthur was not worried about being noticed by the Beasts Pirates.

[ Two months later ]

[ Kuri region ]

In the middle of the narrow neighborhoods of the town of Bakura, a strange man came out of one of the bars, while the ground inside and outside the bar was filled with several unconscious or in pain men.

The strange man wore a white and red embroidered Hakama dress while there were a few dots of blood sticking to his dress.

He carried a slightly short Sword with him, the stranger's features were not clearly visible due to the Reed hat he was wearing but his long hair was clearly styled in a ponytail.

With slow steps Arthur walked calmly, not caring about the people around him, because of the extreme change that had happened to him and the isolation of the Wano Country, he was not afraid that anyone would recognize him here.

The people around him looked at him with some fear while they were talking among themselves and wondering what had happened.

'I hope that's enough to get those rats out of their burrows'

Arthur looked around, ignoring the general public, while his gaze was focused on two people talking suspiciously while looking at him from time to time.

After talking for some time one of the people left with hurried steps, when Arthur saw this sight a small smile appeared on his face.

'You've fallen into the trap'

Arthur bent the hat around his head and ran, hurrying out of Bakura town.

This strange, incongruous Act, combined with Arthur's dramatic entrance, made the people surrounding the bar show astonished glances.
