Ch. 109: Goku is Ginyu and Ginyu is Goku!? (2)

"What did you- Ack!" Goku tried to ask from Ginyu's body, but halfway through his sentence, he began coughing up purple blood.

"While you were charging your attack, I gouged a little chunk out of my back, so that you'd be a little... debilitated, while I absconded with your body." Ginyu told Goku from his body.

"How? You stole my-my body?" Goku asked, disbelief clear across his face.

"Yes, HAHAHA! That's right! I stole your body, and there's nothing that you can do about it! With my ruthlessness, and your body's power, I'll be able to ascend to heights far higher than you could've, if you'd kept it! I'll become the Super Saiyan that you're too soft to be! It's my destiny, hahahaaa!" Ginyu cackled, his body-snatching successful. The original inhabitant of this body was now in Ginyu's former one, injured and useless, while he could just feel his new raw power. He was on par with gods. He was on par with Lord Frieza himself, with this body, he believed. He could serve him even better than ever, now!

Goku, on the other hand, was on the exact other side of the happiness scale. "I've seen a lot of weird techniques in my day, but one that swaps bodies like this... Nnrgh..." He could feel his back bleeding, and he could barely use any of his... no, Ginyu's energy. Even an idiot like Goku could tell that the second part of that was from the body-swap. He wasn't used to Ginyu's body at all, which meant that Ginyu would be weakened too. If he wasn't bleeding out from the chunk that Ginyu had used his energy to gouge out of his own back, Goku would likely still have a significant edge in the fight, with his Kaio-ken mastery... now, though, he was worried for multiple reasons, and not just the fact that Chichi was going to kill him for losing his body.

"I better make sure that you're down for the count. I didn't have much time to gouge that chunk out of my back." Ginyu muttered to himself. Then, he flew forward. Goku's eyes could easily follow Ginyu's new movements, further proving that he was weakened, but Goku's new body was too slow and helpless against Ginyu's casual downward blow. Blasted into a crater, not even Goku's mental strength was enough to keep him conscious.

"Ugh. My scouter got destroyed in the fight... too bad. At least Lord Frieza and Jeice still have theirs, and I know that the ship is in that direction. I better go back there and make sure that Vegeta hasn't somehow discovered the Dragon Balls that I had those men bury, since I somehow doubt that Jeice was able to stop him." Ginyu muttered to himself, already moved on from his old body. With Vegeta's untrustworthiness in mind, Ginyu was worried about the Dragon Balls, but he knew that whatever were to happen from here on, he had more than enough strength to deal with it in his new Saiyan body.

After all, his old body had already defeated all of those Saiyans before, except Raditz, who'd always been a worthless fighter. This guy was definitely their ace. Some monstrously strong ringer that they'd only brought in at the last second because they'd been getting trounced by Frieza so badly. Compared to Goku, the rest of them had to be worthless.

...

I was flying through the air behind Gohan, Krillin, and Nappa, on our way to the cave where Bulma and Cargo were so that we could borrow the Dragon Radar when Shay gave me the update on the end of my dad's fight.

'So... Mistress, we have a problem. The body-swap went as planned... but your dad's consciousness, kind of lost consciousness.' Shay explained to me, having been keeping an eye on that particular piece of the puzzle during most of the flight. She knew how important that specific part of the future was, in my theories, after all.

'Ginyu was harder on his body this time than he was in the original? Why?' I asked Shay telepathically. Her answer basically amounted to a difference in the dialogue between the two. The fight'd happened much faster, and Ginyu hadn't bothered with any of the flashy displays that he'd done in the original. As a result, he'd simply told Goku to kill him, while hurting himself and setting himself up for the body swap technique.

A rather ingenious plan, to say the least. Too bad that Ginyu had a heart of ink, or I'd have had to reconsider trapping him in a frog later. 'At least he'll be a smart frog.' I thought to myself as I listened to her explanation.

'...And then, he got scared that he hadn't done enough damage to his old body, so he threw Goku into a crater. If nothing happens, Goku's likely slated to die before going back to normal.' She finished.

'Alright, then. Heal my dad's current body just enough that he can get to Frieza's ship shortly after Ginyu does, and make absolutely sure that Raditz is there when Ginyu tries to pick a fight with Vegeta. He'll protect my dad's body so that Vegeta can't destroy it. Also, relay it to the girls that I wanna get there around the same time as my dad's soul does. I need to personally make sure that Ginyu uses that body-swap technique again, so that I can seal him in a frog.' I ordered. Honestly, it was a lot of work for Shay, but I knew that she'd do it all happily, not forgetting a single thing. 'By the way, why is Jeice flying in a random direction?' I asked as an afterthought. I honestly didn't care about Jeice, but he was stronger than Piccolo and Krillin, and that made him a threat that I needed to keep tabs on.

'I'll ask the girls, wait a sec...' Shay went silent for a moment, 'He freaked out. They promised to keep an eye on him, but they're pretty sure he's just gonna curl up into a ball and start crying... a lot.'

'That's fine. As long as he doesn't interfere with us anymore, he can be ignored, then. If he does, we'll just seal his soul in another frog, and send him to Planet Red.' I decided.

'Okay, Mistress!'
