The reception dinner at the resort was in a large stretch tent that had a clear translucent ceiling that allowed us to see the night sky. Stars adored the sky and the quarter moon was absolutely transfixing. I could have stared at it for hours.
Circular tables were spread all throughout the space for our family. The tables were made out of a light oak with matching chairs, cans with wild flowers rested on the tables and rustic mugs served as our champagne and wine glasses. EJ brought a mug with him much larger than anyone else's and by the way Connor was snickering I knew they were going to be trouble.
Another small tent had been prepared for the children with nannies to supervise and just a peek of theirs made me jealous. It looked like the clubs of toddlers' dreams. I had a great feeling Lia, Belli and Eli with their cousins would be barely seen for the rest of the night.
