Charm

Unfortunately, Quirrell's prayers went unanswered.

At this moment, Artel had just returned to his bedroom.

"There will be a session of Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration tomorrow... Then again, Professor McGonagall hasn't given me extra points for a long time..."

Artel lay on the bed, checking the completion of his main quest.

Artel has amassed 170 points thus far.

He had accumulated the required 150 points for the main quest, which meant that Artel could relax, but to gain more plot points, he had to continue striving for excellence.

"But the professors' expectations of me have only grown.

Artel gave a wry smile.

Initially, the professors rewarded Artel for his excellent task completion, but later, he had to go above and beyond to earn extra points...

And now, Artel had to outperform the professors to gain bonus points.

Especially Professor McGonagall, who believed Artel possessed an unparalleled talent in Transfiguration, hence her higher expectations.

During last week's Transfiguration class, Professor McGonagall had tasked them with transforming a beetle into a candy. Artel had turned it into a delicate hard candy, but Professor McGonagall felt that while the hard candy looked tempting, it lacked a strong fruity flavor...

Thus, Artel missed out on extra points.

Only Snape, who had always favored him, would award ten points as long as the potion preparation was done correctly.

It was a shame that not every potion class involved potion preparation; most of the time, they focused on handling potion materials, which did not earn students extra points from Snape.

"Tomorrow...whatever Professor McGonagall asks for...I'm going to make it perfect!"

"Nagini has arrived at Hogwarts, indicating that Dumbledore has initially accepted her. Now, he just has to let nature take its course. On Voldemort's side, he probably doesn't know about Nagini yet, but he will undoubtedly notice her...

"However, Voldemort can't even protect himself now, especially since Nagini handed over part of his soul to Dumbledore. Basically, he doesn't need to think about it anymore."

Dazed, Artel fell asleep.

That night, Artel drifted into a deep slumber, cradled by peaceful dreams.

"Good morning, Malfoy."

As Artel rose from his bed, he greeted Malfoy with a warm smile, catching sight of Malfoy in the midst of changing his clothes.

"Oh... good morning, Artel," Malfoy responded, his tone slightly stiff.

As a scion of the esteemed Malfoy lineage, Malfoy's upbringing had ingrained in him a disdain for associating with half-blood wizards. However, Artel was an exception. His remarkable talent, strength, and even temperament stirred envy in Malfoy's heart.

Yet, Malfoy dared not divulge to his father, Lucius Malfoy, the existence of such a roommate...

Disregarding Malfoy's unease, Artel swiftly changed his clothes, left the dormitory after freshening up, and encountered Hermione upon arriving at the auditorium.

"Have you heard?" Hermione's voice cut through the air suddenly, interrupting the morning calm.

"What have you heard?" Artel responded, eyeing her with suspicion, his morning encounter with Malfoy being the only noteworthy event thus far.

"It's about that woman—the one who arrived with the headmaster yesterday. She's a new staff member at the school, now serving as the school doctor alongside Madam Pomfrey, responsible for attending to the medical needs of the students."

"I wasn't aware... How did you find out? The school hasn't made any official announcements," Artel remarked, recalling his earlier observation of the notice board outside the auditorium and finding no mention of it.

Hermione met Artel's gaze and replied, her expression holding a hint of intrigue.

"What Neville shared was that Harry battled a fever last night, and it was Neville and Ron who rushed him to the infirmary. Surprisingly, it was the woman there who worked her healing magic on him."

"Well, it could be a positive turn for the school.

Artel, maintaining his usual calm, couldn't shake off the memory of last night when he keenly sensed Nagini's arrival.

"Harry mentioned that the new school doctor is remarkably skilled, gentler than Madam Pomfrey, proficient in the healing arts, and skilled in brewing various potions... Ron even went as far as claiming she's the most beautiful woman he's ever laid eyes on..."

Artel's mouth twitched slightly.

Ron, the audacity to make such remarks. What does he truly know about beauty?

Yet, it appears to be Ron's usual style. In the original book, he admired the lady from the Three Broomsticks, considering her quite alluring...

Regardless, Nagini's allure could be attributed to her past as a snake, radiating a captivating charm.

Post-dinner, the two planned to head to the classroom.

Exiting the auditorium, they noticed Filch putting up a notice about Nagini's appointment.

A photo of Nagini adorned the notice, clad in nurse attire.

Artel couldn't help but make a peculiar expression. Well, no wonder, considering...

How could Harry, Ron, and even Neville resist her charms?

Who would even attempt to resist?

Artel envisioned a scenario where the male students feigned illness to find themselves in the school infirmary...
