Hermione's voice was barely above a whisper, laden with concern, as she spoke to Artel.

"Calm down. Hogwarts has Headmaster Dumbledore, plenty of professors, and senior students." A confident and powerful tone resonated in Artel's voice as he reassured her.

"Even if they're not around, don't forget about me. I'm quite capable." He continued.

Hermione glanced at him, a quick blush coloring her cheeks, and she hummed softly.

Post-dinner, Artel and his companions descended into the basement for Potions class. Snape's demeanor had grown even more serious and colder than before.

In the classroom, Snape indulged in mocking Harry and Ron for a while before delving into the day's lesson on handling various potion materials. Artel, having already mastered the content through self-study, showcased his expertise, particularly in refining potions – a skill honed through handling orc potion ingredients.

Artel's flawless execution earned him praise from Snape, resulting in an impressive 10 points. On the flip side, Neville clumsily destroyed a material, costing Gryffindor five points, and Harry lost another five for failing to supervise Neville properly.

As the class concluded, Snape hastily left, but not without reminding Harry and Ron to meet him in the afternoon for detention. Harry, visibly enraged, looked as if he might confront Snape if given the chance.

Post-class, Hermione headed to the library as her routine, while Harry and Ron discussed airing their grievances with Hagrid. Artel, on the other hand, retreated to the dormitory before making his way to the Room of Requirement.

With the ghosts and specters stirring in the castle, Artel proceeded cautiously. Having secured the troll's heart the day before, he was now ready to attempt refining the potent orc potion. Saruman's meticulous experiment notes provided a clear roadmap, instilling confidence in Artel's success.

Yet, the powerful orc potion proved more intricate and time-consuming than its ordinary counterpart. Even with an automatic crucible, Artel could produce only one bottle every two hours.

Pondering his next move, he contemplated, "My mental strength is sufficient. I could acquire more automatic crucibles to refine multiple bottles simultaneously."

Alternatively, he mused on the idea of summoning a lich. An intelligent lich could potentially aid in the potion-making process. However, Artel hesitated, realizing that such an act within the castle might attract Dumbledore's attention.

Artel raised a bottle containing a blue-purple potion, shaking it gently before introducing the rat-headed soul from the experiment at Shelby Manor. The murky liquid transformed into clarity, the blue-purple hue shifting to a deep purple, emitting an enchanting magical aura reminiscent of a pure purple gem.

A subtle smile curved Artel's lips as he contemplated the potion's potential. "This strong orc potion can transform an animal into a formidable orc warrior, even more fearsome than a troll."

As for the choice of the creature, Artel already had a specific idea in mind.

.....

In the depths of the Forbidden Forest, a pack of werewolves thrived, born under the influence of the full moon. Though they assumed wolf-like forms, their intelligence rivaled that of humans, making them ideal candidates for the potent orc potions Artel aimed to create.

Limited by the troll's heart in his possession, Artel could only refine ten bottles of the powerful orc potion. However, his primary goal was clear: obtaining a Forbidden Forest wolf cub to experiment with the potion's effects.

After securing the potion, Artel departed the Room of Requirement. The time-consuming nature of the potion-making process meant lunch in the Great Hall had already commenced. Hermione, having finished her meal, expressed relief upon Artel's arrival.

Concerned, she shared, "I thought you weren't joining for dinner. I asked Malfoy, and he mentioned someone saw you return to the dormitory without reappearing." Hermione, given Artel's punctuality, had grown anxious, especially after the events of the previous night.

Artel reassured her, "There's always something to eat," as he sat down. With a light pat on the table, a lavish lunch materialized before him. "I planned to return to the dormitory for some reading, but I unexpectedly dozed off. Reading can be quite dull."

Savoring the Macaroni Bolognese, Artel complimented the Hogwarts house-elves on their culinary skills. Hermione, rendered speechless, stared at him. "Where are Harry and Ron?" Artel inquired, scanning the Gryffindor table in search of his missing companions.
