"You can meet him, but you might get shock by his appearance," Allysa spoke.

"What do you mean?" Alice asked, her expression one of confusion.

"Well, you see, he underwent some surgery to improve his appearance, so he looks different now," Allysa explained while nervously scratching her forehead. 

Her explanation sounded suspicious, but that was because I was the one doing the talking through the ear-piece .

The surgery part isn't too far off. South Korea is famously the plastic surgery capital of the world, where getting a new face is easier than ordering fast food. 

In fact, most Korean girls receive a plastic surgery gift card for their 18th birthday, alongside a cake that says, "Congratulations on your new nose!" It's almost like a rite of passage - you're not an adult until you've had your first botox injection!
