Out Of The Bag

After heading inside Leyan's room upstairs, Xiaoyun sees the bathroom that Leyan was talking about.

Entering inside, he quickly took off his clothes and looked towards the reflection of the mirror.

To his surprise, his body was a lot more muscular, although not as muscular as those bodybuilders.

His biceps were now much more visible, with a surprise down below that made him a little shocked.

"Wait, is it because I am thinking of getting stronger?"

Out of curiosity, he quickly decided to put his theory to the test.

"My hair will grow."

Xiaoyun moved his hand up to touch his hair, and just as he had expected, it had grown a tiny bit longer.

"I become the most handsome man in the world! And I'll be irresistible!"

Unfortunately, not a single thing has changed as he checked every part of his body in the mirror.

"Okay, that may be too broad... My hair will change back to normal——"

Before he could finish thinking about it, a sudden headache made him immediately collapse before the sink.

"Shit, why did that hurt? Did I use it too much? Or is it due to me trying to reverse something?"

Xiaoyun quickly stopped thinking about his power, slowly getting back up to take a shower.

A few minutes later...

After finishing the showering, he stepped out of the bathtub with his hair and body still all wet.

"Shit, I forgot to bring a towel and clothes... I can't risk cloning something so soon."

Xiaoyun Stood still for a second before reaching over for his phone in his dirty clothes. However, his attempt to call Yuqi was not answered.

With no other option left, he slowly peeked out of the restroom, only to find no one was in Leyan's room.

He quickly ran over to the hallway door, peeked out, and saw nobody was outside.

Not wasting any time, he immediately bolted straight for the office, turning the door knob before stepping inside.

"Whew."

As he turned around, he was in complete shock. Nami was sitting right in the office chair, her legs crossed, resting on the table.

"Took you long enough to shower... Ah! Why are you not wearing clothes?"

She immediately covered her eyes with her hands after seeing Xiaoyun naked right in front of her.

"I forgot to get my clothes and take a shower. Can you get out——"

Before he finished talking, Nami had already rushed out of the room, allowing him to go over to his suitcase to grab his towels quickly.

After changing into fresh clothes, Xiaoyun headed back into the hallway.

"Hey..."

Despite his attempt to get his attention, her mind looked a little zoned off as she started talking to herself with one hand on her stomach and the other on her thigh.

"It's too long, too big if that goes in... Impossible... Impossible. I'll die if that happens."

"What are you doing?" Xiaoyun asked curiously, waving his hand before her.

"N-Nothing. Y-you said you wanted to check out the gym, right?" Nami asked back as she finally snapped back to reality.

"Yeah. Let's go then."

After the two of them arrived in the living room, he followed her to the kitchen, where Leyan was already busy cooking.

Just before they reached the backyard door, she turned right and pulled the dent that almost blended into the wall.

The wall slid open, revealing Yueyue inside, who was already running on the treadmill.

She also noticed the two walking in, stopping her treadmill as she walked over to them to talk.

"Is Yuqi safe?" Yueyue asked curiously.

"Yuqi is safe... She's taking a shower right now." Xiaoyun answered.

Seeing the two awkwardly standing with no conversation between them, Nami facepalmed herself before Leyan's voice interrupted them.

"Food is ready!"

---

When the three of them entered the kitchen, Yuqi and Leyan were already sitting at the table.

As everyone took a seat, Leyan carried the plate full of food onto the table before giving a short announcement.

"There's no more rice, so we can only eat dishes directly," Leyan stated as she sat down next to Xiaoyun.

"Miss Leyan, how much food did you get to buy yesterday?" Xiaoyun asked curiously.

"I brought a few dozen eggs, ten potatoes, five tomatoes, two fish, three pork packs, and one chicken pack.

I also have several cabbages and lettuce in the garden and one pack of beef and mutton in the fridge.

If we start rationing, I think it's enough for a month or so. Afterward, we might need to..."

Everyone at the table immediately raised the alarm as they realized there was nowhere near enough food.

"This too little. We don't know how long it will take for the government to rescue." Yueyue spoke up first.

"Rescue might never come... If the police are infected, why wouldn't the army get infected? It's probably over for all of humanity."

Yuqi chimed in with her pessimistic outlook after what she had experienced in the outside world.

"Let's not make any rushed conclusion."

Leyan pushed back against Yuqi's idea before Nami chimed in with a statement of her own.

"Oh, I almost forgot. I just got the video showing the disease is airborne, so if we haven't been infected, we are resistant to the airborne part."

The good news cheered everyone at the table a little bit, but the mood was still a little grim.

Until Yuqi spoke up again.

"To be honest, I think we should be fine... As long we have Xiaoyun here, we don't have to worry about food."

Seeing her looking towards Xiaoyun with admiration and hope, the other three girls got a little confused.

"What are you talking about?" Yueyue asked the question in all three of their mind.

Yuqi quickly gave Xiaoyun an eye signal, handing him her empty bowl over to his hand.

"Look at this empty bowl... Xiaoyun, do your magic."

With all of the girl's attention on the bowl, Xiaoyun closed his eyes and started imagining it full of rice.

To all three of their surprises, the bowl was now full of rice, with a steady hot steam coming out.

"What kind of black magic is this?"

Nami asked in shock, and the other two rubbed their eyes several times to make sure they weren't seeing things.

"I can create things... I guess you can say it's like magic. But it's more like a superpower, I think."

As Xiaoyun handed the bowl back down to Yuqi, he began grabbing all four of their bowls and filling them with rice as well.

"Wait! Can you teach me this, Onii-Chan? Please! I want a new PS5 and a new iPhone 14!"

Nami pleaded as she quickly got up from his lap and started hugging his arm with her petite body.

"Sorry, Nami, I don't think I can do that. I can only create them if I have put my hand on them before."

Hearing the answer disappointed her a bit, but she didn't speak about it again as she moved back to her seat.

"Is there any drawback to this?" Leyan asked cautiously.

"I don't think there is any drawback besides overusing it, which can cause headaches."

"How did you get this ability?" Yueyue asked next.

"I got it after I was accidentally bitten on it... At least that's what I think my ability came from."

As soon as he finished answering the question, he could feel the mood at the dining table change.

"What? When were you bitten? Are you sure you are okay?" Leyan's asked in a worried voice.

"Is this some superpower after being bitten?" Nami murmured to herself.

"It was yesterday, and I'm fine now. Look, I'm as healthy as ever." Xiaoyun replied as he rolled up his sleeve.

Despite his assurance, their faces still looked a little cautious.

"Wait. Yuqi, you told me that Xiaoyun was fine yesterday. Why are you lying to me?"

Leyan questioned with a hint of anger, and Nami and Yueyue both realized that Yuqi's timeline didn't add up either.

"I..."

"Just because you think you're an adult, you can just lie to your mom like this? Why didn't you just be honest with me?"

With increasing anger from Leyan, the power peg finally exploded as Yuqi suddenly slammed the table in anger.

"Why are you angry at me? I am the one working overtime to keep our family afloat.

You didn't even ask me if I was okay a single time. All I saw was you asking if Xiaoyun was okay or not.

Why do you care about Xiaoyun so much? He is only a stranger to you. I'm your biological daughter, not him!"

"Don't try to drag the conversation away. So you think lying to your mother is fine?"

Just as Yuqi was about to argue back, Nami suddenly started crying.

"Wah!——Mom and sister are fighting again!"

The two immediately stopped as Yueyue dragged Leyan back down to her seat while Xiaoyun gently dragged her back down as well.

"We are a family. No need to yell at each other." Yueyue proposed, with Xiaoyun nodding slightly.

"Hmph!"

Both let out a sound of anger as they refused to back down. But as Nami continued to cry, Leyan eventually backed down.

"Okay, fine, my bad for not asking you. Are you okay, Qiqi?" Leyan grumpily asked.

"I am fine," Yuqi replied as her anger seemed to have dropped.

Seeing the two move past the argument phase, Nami's expression instantly changes to normal.

It almost made Xiaoyun a little scared, noticing how fast Nami was able to control her emotions.

"Let's start eating then before the food gets cold."

As Yueyue picked up the first piece, everyone else started eating as well.

However, before Xiaoyun could use his chopstick, Leyan picked up a piece of pork and placed it into his bowl.

Yuqi also immediately joined in and put a piece of scrambled egg into Xiaoyun's bowl.

Then Nami put a piece of cabbage in Xiaoyun's bowl. Even Yueyue joined in as she shyly put a piece of fish in Xiaoyun's bowl.

"Enough is enough. I can get the food myself."

---

After all five people finished eating, they all sat at the dining table in silence.

The sun was starting to set on the horizon outside, making the food they had just eaten pretty much dinner.

"Xiaoyun, when will you say it?" Nami quietly asked.

"Em... What if I never say it?" Xiaoyun quietly asked back.

Seeing Xiaoyun wanting to avoid confronting the truth, Nami quickly started threatening him.

"Brother, you can't do that. They deserved to know. I will say it for you if you don't say it yourself."

"Fine..."

As Xiaoyun cleared his throat, the other three turned their attention towards Xiaoyun.

"I want to tell you all about something. I'm actually——"

Before he could finish, he stopped himself at the very last second and tried to walk away.

But Nami pulled him back down to his seat, forcing him to say it out loud rather than letting him go.

"Hey, stop it! You are not leaving until you say it." Nami demanded.

The three watched the two struggle with each other until Leyan decided to speak up.

"Just say what you want. Don't be so scared… You are like a family to us."

Leyan's face blushed as she said it out loud, and Yuqi's face started to blush as well.

"I... Fine. I need to tell you all something. I'm not sure if this is 100% true, but based on Nami's evidence, it might be true."

Slowly, Xiaoyun took off his jacket before taking out his necklace and putting it on the table.

"Leyan... I shouldn't call you that. I should call you... Mom."

All three of them fell into silence, but Xiaoyun didn't stop there.

"And Yuqi, you are my older sister."

Yuqi's face looked a little shocked, but Xiaoyun kept on going.

"And Yueyue, you are my twin sister, and Nami is my younger sister..."

With the secret finally out, his mind let out a small sigh of relief. But his mind suddenly felt a sense of regret.

"Are you kidding me? I don't remember having a younger brother. Nami, you have to be joking together, right?"

Yuqi immediately dismissed it as a prank, as her mind was filled with all the romantic things they had done together.

"Yeah, the joke between you two is not funny. I don't have a twin brother. Right, mom?"

Yueyue asked as she agreed with Yuqi's sentiment, not believing it despite knowing her similarities with Xiaoyun.

Deep inside, she wanted it to be false for some reason.

"Mom?"

Both Yueyue and Yuqi turned towards Leyan, who sat in silence, her hands covering her face, as a quiet sob echoed in the kitchen.

"Mom? You okay? What's wrong?"

As soon as Nami asked, Leyan finally lowered her hands, revealing tears that had already fallen from her face.

"I should have realized... Xiaoyun and my husband look so similar. Why didn't I realize that earlier?

I can't, I can't do this. Xiaoyun, I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. No, don't forgive me.

I don't deserve it. Please kill me. Just kill me! Please! I don't deserve to be your mother!"

Seeing Leyan suddenly collapse, Yuqi and Yueyue finally realized they weren't joking.

As the crying sound got louder and louder, Xiaoyun quickly moved over to her to hug her.

"Mom, it's okay, it's not your fault... We didn't know at the time. I only found out about it yesterday morning...

You should go back to your room to calm down. You'll always be my mom, no matter what you have done to me."

Hearing his answer made Leyan stop sobbing for a second, but she quickly got up from her seat and ran out of the kitchen.

With one out of the way, Xiaoyun turned his attention over to the other two.

"You perverted, degenerate piece of garbage! Why didn't you tell me earlier if you knew I was your sister!"

Yuqi suddenly collapsed on his chest with tears constantly flowing out of her eyes, her face full of anger and disappointment.

"I'm sorry... I thought I was going to die at the time, so I was just joking... I didn't know you were taking it seriously."

Despite the apology, Yuqi slammed him in the face again before running out of the kitchen.

Looking over at Yueyue, Xiaoyun could see disgust mixed with disappointment on her face.

She didn't do anything extreme as she looked over to the remaining two before walking out of the kitchen in silence.

With all three women out of the kitchen, only Xiaoyun and Nami remained.

"It seems that everyone is upset... I thought this was going to be a happy reunion. Did you do something wrong, brother?"

Nami asked in contempt, not giving him time to explain himself as she left the kitchen herself.

"Fuck! I didn't want this to happen either... what am I doing with my life?"

Xiaoyun thought to himself as he sat at the dining table in defeat, his mind conflicted on what to do next.

---

At night, Xiaoyun lay on the bed, unable to sleep. He turned over several times but became increasingly energetic.

"Everything that can go wrong went wrong? Why? How did I fucked everything up like this?"

He thought for a minute but couldn't find any reasoning or explanation.

"Why am I still trying to find a reason to excuse myself? I should have stopped myself that night and been honest with them from the start.

Perhaps I should never have been here in the first place... I had only brought them pain to this household."

Slowly, Xiaoyun got up from the bed and lifted the childhood photo at the desk one last time.

"I don't deserve them... I'm just a selfish person."

After putting the photo back down, he began packing everything back into the suitcase.

As he arrived in the living room with his suitcase, he quickly remembered the only other worries he still needed to deal with.

Noticing the dishes hadn't been washed yet, he quickly loaded all the dishes in the dishwasher.

Next, he went over to the fridge and checked inside.

The fridge was only half full, nowhere near enough for them to survive longer than a year.

"If I leave, they won't have enough food... I need to give them at least enough for a few more months."

Realizing this, he quickly cloned a bunch of vegetables and put them in. Then he went to the rice tank and filled it up to full.

As a backup, he also created several bags of rice and placed them next to the rice tank.

"Shit, my head hurts... did I use too much?"

Xiaoyun murmured as he pressed onto his temple with both hands, trying to relieve the headache.

With rice and vegetables out of the way, Xiaoyun cloned dozens of canned meats and placed them beside the rice.

"This should be enough... Now I can leave in peace."

Walking over to the living room, another problem popped up in his mind.

"They still need some sort of weapons."

Sitting down on the sofa, he began thinking about holding the pistol from the previous day.

Trying to create it in his hand, the headache was so severe that it felt as if a knife was cutting inside his head.

It was all worth it in the end, as a replica of the gun was now in his hand. But as he unclipped the magazine, there were zero bullets.

"Of course, it's empty... why wouldn't it," Xiaoyun murmured as he began trying to clone the single bullet.

Sure enough, the same bullet appeared in his hand.

Next, he tried to create more bullets to load into the magazine, but the headache was so bad that he suddenly collapsed onto the table.

After an unknown amount of time had passed, he finally woke up again from the coffee table.

His head still hurt slightly, but it was much better than earlier.

"Well, now I know my limits." Xiaoyun thought to himself as he began loading all of the bullets into the magazine.

After everything was loaded, he decided to leave them a farewell note.

He quickly created a piece of paper, triggering a small headache. But he forced himself through it as he used the pen from the coffee table.

---

"Dear Mom:

Mom, I'm sorry I have to leave like this. I think this is better for both of us. I want to tell you so many stories from when I was a kid, but they'll need to be cut short.

Please don't blame yourself. You don't need to be sorry. It's my fault. I should have resisted harder, but I didn't. I fell into temptation.

I couldn't hold myself together and said no when I had the chance. But every night, I kept having those dreams, that wet dream.

I couldn't resist it every time. I know I'm a piece of trash for thinking like that, and I am sincerely sorry.

We both didn't know we were related, but that doesn't excuse the fact I don't regret something immoral.

You have the full right to view your son as disgusting and disown me. Hell, I would even disown myself.

One last thing, Mom, you are not old. You are still young. In all honesty, I am happy that I gave my virginity to someone that beautiful and sexy.

Don't blame yourself, Mom. It's both of our mistakes. Like you said, it's all just a dream.

Goodbye, Mom, and I hope I can call you Leyan one last time. Your son, Xiaoyun."

After finishing the letter, Xiaoyun felt he should write another one for Yuqi.

---

"Dear Yuqi:

When I saw you for the first time, your cold face scared me. But as I got to know you, I realized all this was just a cover.

You have another side: you are passionate and gentle. I think you should show this more often.

That evening, when I joked about not having a girlfriend, I already knew you were my sister.

But I didn't expect you to treat me like a real boyfriend. I'm sorry for hurting you, but I do love you.

Sometimes, I wish we could meet again and get to know each other better. But don't worry. You will never see me again.

I'm sorry. You are right that I am a pervert and a piece of trash. Goodbye, sister.

Your younger brother, Xiaoyun."

With Yuqi done, he decided to write one more for Yueyue and Nami together.

---

"To my dear Yueyue and Nami:

First, thank you, Yueyue. I would never know I have a family without you. You know, when I first saw you, I thought I was looking in a mirror.

I was just as shocked as sister Ningjing when I noticed how similar we are. What an unbelievable world we live in, or maybe we are destined to meet each other.

Although I'm leaving, I want to tell you that, funnily enough, that night when we were at the BBQ place, I originally wanted to ask you out to an amusement park on the weekend.

I thought maybe Brother Ming was right. I need a break in life, and Pinli's suggestion that we should be together was no coincidence. But I didn't dare to ask you out.

It looks like I won't have the chance to say it anymore now.

Also, since you are the strongest in the family, the gun on the table is for you to hold on to. Please protect Mom and sister for me. Goodbye, my twin sister Yueyue.

And to my lovely sister Nami. I want to start by thanking you. I would never have realized we are related if it weren't for you.

Although the confession is not as happy as you planned, it's not your fault. It's mine. I fucked up everything possible. I hope everyone in the family can be happy together and forget about me.

Goodbye, my dear younger sister Nami."

---

After writing the three letters and positioning the gun on the coffee table, Xiaoyun finally headed towards the door with the suitcase.

But before he could turn the doorknob, someone's footsteps appeared from the stairs.

Looking back, he sees Nami in her pajamas standing on the stairway, staring right at him.

"Hey brother, where are you going? What are you up so late?"

Nami quietly asked, her face still looking half asleep as she wiped her eyes to see more clearly.

"Oh, I am just going to get something. You should go back to bed... It's getting late."

Despite his attempt to dismiss Nami, she immediately realized what he was doing with the suitcase.

"Wait, don't go!" Nami screamed as she ran toward him.

"You really should go back to sleep... I'm just going to my dormitory to get some clothes."

Xiaoyun stated as he patted Nami's head, trying to make her let him leave the house.

"Why are you holding the suitcase then? And why in the middle of the night?"

Nami questioned as she tightly held onto his arms, not letting him go at all.

"Um, the suitcase is to store the clothes... No more questions, okay? Go back to your bed. It's cold outside."

Xiaoyun tried to shove her hand away, but she held on tight like a koala holding a tree.

"No! You are lying! You are just going to be like Dad, leaving us behind. He doesn't want us anymore, and now you do too!"

She finally let go of his hand, but she burst into tears and fell onto the floor helplessly.

"I..."

Xiaoyun resisted the thought of turning back and took another step, causing Nami to cry even louder.

As he took another step, he couldn't live with the fact after hearing what Nami had said out loud.

"Okay, okay, don't cry, Nami. I won't leave like Dad."

Xiaoyun quickly moved the suitcase back in, closing the door before bending down and gently hugging Nami around his arms.

"Really?" Nami asked as her crying stopped a little.

"Yeah, I promise... Here, let's make a pinky promise."

Nami finally calmed down as the two of them pinky-promised each other before helping her stand back up.

"Okay, my dear little sister, you can return to your room and sleep now... I swear I won't leave the family like this."

As Xiaoyun walked over and sat down on the sofa, Nami finally started heading towards the stairs.

"Brother, you better not lie to me."

"Yes, yes, I won't break the promise. I won't bring the pain of what Dad did to you guys.."

After hearing Xiaoyun's promise again, Nami finally went up to the hallway before a door-closing sound could be heard.

"Well, there goes my plan to leave... These letters, what am I going to do with it?"

After thinking for a while, Xiaoyun threw the letter into the trash can.

"This gun... I guess I kept it for now. Yuqi still has my gun on her."

---

After another door-closing sound came from the office room, the door to Nami's room opened again.

Seeing no one was outside, she quickly ran back downstairs to the living room.

"The gun on the coffee table is missing. Brother probably took it back... Huh, wasn't there some paper on the coffee table?"

After looking for a bit, Nami found the paper crumbled in the trash can. She quickly picked it up and ran back up the stairs into her room.

Sitting on the bed, Nami unraveled the paper and decided to read the one directed to Yueyue and herself.

A few moments later...

"Oh my... A boy falling in love with his twin sister? It's just like in the reunion manga. Hmm, I wonder what he said about me?"

After Nami finished reading Yueyue and her part, she couldn't help but get a little jealous.

"What! I barely got any part... This is rigged. Am I not cute enough? I'm already old enough!"

Nami looked down at her chest, only to see a flat plain that could be an airstrip for a plane.

"Hmph! Idiot brother..." Nami thought to herself as she moved on to the next letter to be directed to Leyan.

A few minutes later, again...

"Mom is a bit too lewd. No wonder Mom is dressing so conservatively... They really did it together that night. Mom x son...

But neither of them knew it at the time. Is it okay? Either way, brother is so perverted for still thinking about it."

Nami put the two letters aside and moved on to the last letter directed at Yuqi.

"There is no way Yuqi is gentle? That is such a sharp contrast! She didn't even have a boyfriend in high school and college.

And NOW she is having a boyfriend? Out of all people, it's her brother?! Ha, what an idiot."

Nami chuckled before her face suddenly changed as she put the letter aside.

"Xiaoyun fell in love with all three of them... WHY THE HELL AM I EXCLUDED?!? Is my figure that bad!"

An angry Nami looked down again, only to let out a sigh of disappointment.

"Is it a crime to be flat? I'm just a little bit behind Yueyue... Okay, maybe there is more than just a little."

Nami thought to herself, trying to push her chest up with her hand, but it slipped right past.

"Xiaoyun is just an idiot who can't appreciate nice things. It's not my fault I didn't inherit any of mom's size...

Wait, why am I jealous of them? He is my brother... I need to calm down. I don't need him to like me."

She quickly puts the letter back into her drawers, turns off the lights, and lies back down on the bed.

Finally, this one took a while. But almost three chapters are done in a day. Big progress.
