As the show aired only one episode per week, it took two months before Yu Qingyu's time in this world was over. By then, he managed to increase his working hours, and became a full-time kitchen staff member at Shi Yu, one of the top restaurants, not only in the city, but in the whole country. It was an incredible achievement for someone who had previously been only an amateur. Although part of the success could be attributed to the help he received from his cousin, his own hard work and dedication were not to be overlooked. Everyone could see that he earned his spot.

Liu Wei came back several times to look for Yu Qingyu, just like he said he would. But thankfully, Yu Qingyu worked in the kitchen… If he wanted to avoid the man, he easily could. And so, each time, Liu Wei left not being able to obtain his contact information, or even get a glimpse of him.
