Caring for Arisu

Alex next paid visit to those few women Hikari had kidnapped for him.

She seemed to have had a real knack for this job...

Actually, Hikari was quite famous not only for her skills and intellect, but also for her cruelty. Anyone who stood against her had their loved ones kidnapped without even them knowing.

Then everything will be easy to guess...

" A-Alex, I'm glad you saved me... " The middle aged women who seemed to be the governor of some random city thanked Alex.

She was one of Kazuma's women. One of the important ones. She was the leader of his harem that he left behind in that city.

Alex could notice some conflicting feelings even now in her eyes as she tried to come terms with new feelings inside her.

It seemed that Kazuma had gained some footing in the Hayashi Clan and waiting anymore will be like giving the wings to tiger.

Alex had easily entered the Hayashi mansion.

He of course didn't enter officially as with the political war going on, his presence here will mark a breaking news on media.

" Mother normally chills with alcohol in her chambers, but after the mess Clan got in she has been spending her time in her previous office. She must be there right now, " Hoshino said to Alex.

Hoshino and he soon came to a small nice room.

A smart looking middle aged women was sitting on a chair there reading something seriously.

She cocked her head up as soon as Alex and Hoshino came near her.

She glanced at Hoshino once but her eyes widened in surprise seeing Alex beside her.

Not only because he was the most handsome man she had ever seen.

" A-Al- I mean Prince Alex... " The women tried to say something.

" Aunt Kia, stop it. He's my boyfriend I brought him here to see mother. Is she busy? " Hoshino said.

" N-No. Let me inform her, " Aunt Kia said while picking up the phone.

She wondered how no one informed her that Alex was here.

A famous person like him should have been reported by guards on the gate at the first sight.

Well, she didn't need to know that Alex just teleported inside Hoshino's room.

After a small talk, Aunt Kia said, " Honami-sama is waiting for you sir. "

Alex smiled at Kia making her heart skip a bit.

She felt a blush creeping up her neck at the handsome sight of Alex.

But when she looked again he was gone inside the room.

Still, Kia couldn't stop herself from remembering the gentle smile Alex gave her.

She felt like her maiden heart was dancing in joy just to see that smile again...

Meanwhile, at a long distance away.

" Kai! Ouch! " Honoka stood up from her seat haphazardly as if her tail was bitten by someone.

But, she sat down again holding her small head.

" Why are you standing up in the car aunty!? " Kaede who was sitting on the front seat alongside Kai asked.

" Don't call me aunty little cun- Kaede, " Honoka said changing her words midway.

Kahori touched Honoka's head, " Is it hurting? " She asked kindly.

But, Honoka thwarted her hand away and glared at Kahori.

This bitch was her competition, Honoka thought.

But--

" Kai, turn around we need to go back to Capital! " Honoka said with urgency.

" Huh? Why? " Kai asked but inwardly she knew what was the problem.

" It's... It's... " Honoka looked at Kahori and Kaede from corner of her eyes, " Stop the car we need to talk," In the end Honoka said to Kai.

And then they stopped, of course only after Kai had taken her sweet time to find a good place.

" So, what is it? " Kai asked away from Kahori and Kaede's ears now.

" A Player had entered my Clan. We need to go back. The preventive measures I left behind won't be enough! " Honoka said with haste that spelled urgency.

" What!? " Kai asked with a shocked expression while sending a message to Alex that explained her worry for his well being, she didn't forget to rant about some preventive measures that Honoka told during the conversation.

After few minutes, Kai could be seen driving her Car back towards Capital in full speed.

Actually today she had brought Honoka away from the Capital under the name of having her meet up with Kahori and Kaede.

Alex believed that Honoka had some things in place to secure Honami from harm's way if any Player attacked her.

So, he ordered Kai to take her away somewhere on a date.

Poor Honoka of course didn't doubt that the one she considered as her future husband was fucking her big time.

" D-Darling, my car is out of fuel... " Kai said hesitantly.

So...

After few hours...

" We're at last here, " Kaede sighed.

" Why the fuck was there so much traffic today! Why!? " Honoka on the other hand was loosing her shit.

" Honoka, please calm down. Everything will be alright, " Kai said gently trying to pacify Honoka.

" Kai... " Honoka felt like crying.

Hearing Kai's reassuring voice she felt that everything will be alright.

" We're here, " Kai said as she brought her Car inside the mansion.

Honoka didn't even think for a moment before running out of the car.

Her destination was her mother's office.

She passed through the hallway with a haste that was inhumane.

Her enhanced body was able to move even faster than normal humans so it wasn't surprising that she reached to Honami's office in just a minute.

She rocked open the door, as if it was the door of her backyard.

" What is this!? " The angry voice of her mother followed from the inside.

" Mother! Are you alright!? "

" I'm. Why are you yelling? Are you out of your mind? Knock before you come in, " Honami asked seeing the sweat soaked figure of Honoka.

" Have some water, " Kia handed a glass of water to Honoka seeing her condition.

" I'm fine... " Honoka said while taking the glass and taking small gulps.

She didn't forget to look around while doing this.

But, she found nothing suspicious, except the air around her mother which was less sorrowful than before.

Her dark circles also were lessened...

But, Honoka didn't find it too suspicious as everything else looked normal.

" Mother. Did someone come here while I was gone? Like Alex? " Honoka asked.

A look of genuine confusion passed through Honami's expression as she asked, " Who? No one came here. Right Kia? "

" No. No one was here Clan Leader Honoka sama, " Kia as well reassured Honoka.

So, in the end she had to leave the office with slightly relieved expression.

But, Honoka wasn't going to let her guard down.

She had used a special spell to keep check on a Player that enters her house.

So, she was sure that she wasn't wrong.

" I must check other Clan households. There is a Player hiding here for sure, " Honoka muttered.

She knew that it was going to be a hassle, but a small smile graced her lips at the thought that she wasn't alone now.

She had Kai with her...

But, the said Kai was right now kissing Alex passionately, her expression morphed into that of a pure love.

" Was your work done hubby? " She asked.

" Haha. Of course, " Alex laughed clearly in happy mood.

How could he not be after spending time in the arms of a celestial beauty like Honami.

" So, Honami-san? She is our sister now? " Kahori asked with a twinkling eyes.

Why was she getting so worked up?

Alex nodded to her and said to Kai, " Honoka must be coming back now. So, I'll be leaving. You know what to talk about. "

" Bye Alex, " Kaede kissed Alex followed by Kahori.

Alex left soon after, his destination was Takahashi Clan where his little angel Arisu was feeling lonely.

Honoka appeared soon after in front of everyone and pulled Kai in a corner.

" We need to talk, " She said.

" So, what did you find? " Kai asked.

" Nothing wrong here, but a Player is hiding in the Clan though. We need to see everywhere. Will you help me? " Honoka asked with a hopeful gaze.

" We're in this together Honoka. I feel sad that you even asked me this, " Kai replied with her trademark accent that managed to win some points from poor Honoka's heart.

" Thank you Kai, I love you, " Honoka said passionately throwing herself in Kai's arms.

There was no kissing, as Kai had said no to anything like that before marriage.

Kinda contradictory, but Honoka felt that Kai was being considerate for her.

Kai on the other hand was glad that she did exactly what Alex told her to.

To pit Honoka against Kazuma who was hiding amidst her Clan.

Kazuma was sure to feel a bad time ahead... That also at the hands of his own wife

Alex stopped his car in front of Takahashi Clan's main mansion.

There Nanase and Hina could be seen standing side by side waiting for Alex.

" You're here, " Nanase said while embracing Alex.

Alex took a small peck from her lips and then beckoned to Hina.

Hina as well hugged Alex with a charming smile and kissed him on lips.

She had already given up her first kiss to Alex some time ago...

" So, is she still in her room? " Alex asked.

" Yes. She's so traumatized that she wouldn't even get out of her room, " Hina laughed.

" You went too hard on her? " Alex asked.

" Don't act. I know you would have made her go through worse, " Hina rolled her eyes.

" Sigh, you're not wrong, " Alex said and made his way to Arisu's room.

He needed to win her heart.

Knock! Knock!

There was no sound from inside.

" It's me, Alex, " Alex said.

Soon a sound of something falling came as Arisu hurriedly opened the door.

As soon as she saw Alex there she jumped into his arms sobbing.

Alex just patted her back and let her cry to her heart's content.

Where the fuck she gets all these tears from. Sigh.

He sent Nanase and Hina away knowing that they will only make things complicated by being here.

" Let's go in and tell me everything, " Alex said gently.

" Sniff. Sniff. Yes... " Arisu cried.

Both of them then went into the room and sat on the bed after Alex closed the door.

" Big brother... Big brother... " Arisu still sobbed like a little baby while clinging to Alex's arm.

Alex patiently waited till she calmed down.

After that Arisu explained everything that happened with her throughout the last week.

Like how everyone in the family started ignoring her.

How her cousins and children of the Clan kept calling her murdurer and traitor's sister.

It seemed she was even bullied and beaten up by some girls.

That must have been done by Hina.

As Alex heard everything that Arisu went through he felt pity for her... Slightly.

So, he comforted her with his words.

A whole day passed like this.

Alex just stayed by Arisu's side and comforted her with words and heard her side of the story.

He also cheered up quite a much with the gifts he had brought for her and jokes.

Making Arisu feel like being alive after so many days.

" You should rejoin the school for real Arisu, " Alex said before leaving.

" I'll t-think, " Arisu replied again as she did before.

She was really afraid of going school after everything that happened.

Alex as well didn't force her as he wanted her to suffer more rather than having her life turned back to normal.

So, he decided to tell Hina to increase intensity of her 'care' for Arisu...
