The doctor told Edward, when he came out of his room with the nurses who left, but he stayed to talk to Edward, who wasn't willing to talk to him because the next moment he has burst into the room to find Giovanni sitting up on the bed, while glancing at the drip in his hand, and touching the bandage at the side of his head.

"Son." Edward called, seriously praying that he doesn't scare him, the way he did moments ago by not remembering anything and passing out from pain.
