Chapter 84. An Emperor has arrived

Ace continued walked towards the center where the fight was going on. As he walked he started frowning as he saw both Marines and civilians on the ground, severely harmed if not dead.

The Demon Ace Pirates also frowned, as the invading pirate crew seemed unnecessarily violent. There was an old lady that had one of her legs cut off as she laid on the ground crying.

Law didn't stop, but he did raise his palm and whispered something, and the lady's wound stopped bleeding.

They continued walking with Ace at the front.

Soon they stumbled upon pirates battling marines.

As soon as the Marines saw Ace and his crew walk into their battlefield, they bdcame surprised, but as soon they made out who this crew was, all of them backed up in fright and wariness.

They had been fighting this damned rookie pirate crew for almost two hours and now another much bigger problem had arrived, a Yonko!!!

It didn't take long before the most senior officers dropped his sword, which resulted in all other Marines dropping their weapons as well, and then they opened a path for the Demon Ace Pirates.

They knew that if they even tried going against a crew like The Demon Ace Pirates, they would die without any resistance.

Ace ignored them and continued walking towards the marine base.

The marine base had been mostly destroyed.

"Nami, do your thing." Ace said as he continued walking. Nami didn't say anything, she just changed her route and disappeared.

The rear admiral was pushed back as swords were flying towards him from all directions. Captain Kid had the ability to control metal!

Suddenly both of them halted their steps again, as they turned towards one of the marinebase walls that had fallen over.

They heard footsteps but couldn't see anything because of the dust, but soon they saw a young man, about 2.5 m tall. He had wide shoulders, a black hat, black robe and white, open shirt and a sword at his hips. The brim of his hat hid half his face.

Neither Kid nor the rear admiral could make out who it was at first, but when the people behind him appeared, that's when they realised which crew this was.

'No wonder the island's weather changed in an instant... The Flame Emperor has arrived!' the rear admiral realised as sweat started dropping down his forehead, if he didn't play his cards right, not only his life, but the whole marinebase might disappear today.

The vice admiral in charge of this island had been called back to Marineford, in preparation for the war with one of the Yonko, Whiteboard. Vice admirals and rear admirals all over the world had been called back, with few left to protect the bases.

And now, someone of that calibre had walked into the base, he was supposed to protect.

Captain Kid's eyes started shining as he realised who had arrived as his grin grew wider.

"I didn't think you'd ever sail under someone else's flag, Law." Kid ignored the Yonko and spoke to Law instead. The temeprute rose even more.

"WAHAHAHA what a fun party we arrived in... So you're Kid?" Ace laughed it off, but neither Kid nor the rear admiral seemed to find it amusing.

"Why did you sail these parts?" Law asked, wanting to understand. Kid and him and briefly fought, and they both knew that they'd be rivals.

"When I heard that you started sailing under someone else's flag, I was enraged and decided to take the head of both of you... But as I went after you, you cowards disappeared for over a year!" Kid said angrily as the swords, guns, rifles and other weapons made of metal started rising, all pointed at Demon Ace Pirates.

The rear admiral panicked when he saw this, this mad brat was about to fight not only a Yonko, but his whole crew??!

He backed off, so that he wouldn't be caught in the cross fire.

"WAHAHAHA what an interesting fellow."

Suddenly, the strongest members of the Kid Pirates arrived at the scene, ready to fight for their captain.

At the right side of Captain Kid, stood a buff, 2m tall man with long blonde hair similar to Golden Lion Shiki, he wore a mask that hid his whole face.

He is Killer, the right hand man of Kid and he is also someone that is gaining fame as a dangerous rookie, besides Kid.

The the left side of Kid stood another man with light blue, almost grey shaggy hair. He had stitches allover his face and body and his eyes were sunken. His name was heat.

Ace could feel that Heat also had some kind of fire ability, although he wasn't sure what ability it was.

"Captain.... I can't contain myself anymore!" Urouge said, barley able to hold his voice back.

"Urouge, you take on Kid this time, go all out. Law, Candish you two take on the other two." Ace said as other strong opponents also arrived.

Ace's words made Kid's grin melt away and fury took over.

"You dare send one of your minions. I sailed this part of the sea for your head." Kid angrily shouted.

"You're not ready for me, Kid." Ace said, playing with his name.

Kid didn't underestimate Urouge as he remembered that Urouge also had a huge momentum a few years back, similar to his own.

But in his eyes, someone that was willing to sail under someone else flag didn't have it in him to become someone at the peak of the world.

That's why he didn't consider anyone from the Demon Ace pirates as someone on his standing, except for the Flame Emperor himself.

"I will defeat you and then I will become the Pirate King!" Kid proclaimed angrily as the swords in the sky all pointed towards Ace.

The words he just shouted, seemed to make all heads turn towards him in surprise, few dared to say that they wanted to become Pirate King, and those that did, were all mad men. And even lesser dared to say it in front of a Yonko.

"Hmm, it's not a bad dream." Ace said, sounding genuine.

"..." Kid was surprised, he believed that by telling his ambition, Ace would fight him, since he believed that Ace was also aiming for the same dream... After all, he is Gol D. Ace.

Before his swords could attack Ace, Urouge threw a big chunk of the wall at Kid.

Scraps of metal all gathered in front of Kid and protected him, and before he could react, Urouge had arrived near and started attacking him.

Kid was surprised by Urouge's strength and fought back.

Ace turned around and walked out, followed by Jojo Pojo.

"Captain, where did you send off Nami?" Jojo asked curiously.

"Hmm, she was a thief before she joined dmy crew the best thief!" Ace simply stated, and that was enough for Jojo to understand as he turned back and realised that Nami was cleaning the place of anything valuable.

"Chahahah well done captain."

Ace wanted to see the island, so he let his crew take care of the rest. He didn't feel like there was any real threat on this island. Although Kid did have potential and some strength, rear and vice admiral level wasn't enough for Ace to take it serious.

But before he could walk far, a kid about 15 years old, with purple hair and a broken nose stood In front of them with a raised sword.

"Huh?" Ace got surpised, all the marines had given up as soon as they saw him yet this kid picked up his sword and stood in his path. Seing the marine attire he understood that the boy was just a cannon fodder marine.

For a while I will be busy with taking care of that, so the slow updates will continue for a while, I am sorry about this. As I have said previously, I still have chapters in stock, I think it's up to chapter 97, but I haven't edited them so I can't release. The unedited is really filled with both grammatical and spelling errors, some places are unreadable so I can't release without editing.

Once again I am sorry about that. This has been my favourite fanfic to write os far and I have enjoyed it, I will pick it up in the future insha'Allah (God willing)
