CWS Crash Course- IV

Though it dampened his mood, he decided to take a look at the pages that had already loaded. He knew that the laptop's charging was going to run out soon. But he still wanted to read as much about the game. The bad habit of not reading about it had already landed him in enough troubles. Perhaps it was about time that he learned something from his past mistakes.

The first part was world building and unlike how Ozias only talked about Aspelenie. The continent of humans was called Gaia and consisted of eight strongholds of humanity. In the north of the continent, were the strongholds of Aspelenie and Frostspire Dominion. Which were the realms of perpetual winter, renowned for their formidable blacksmiths, ice mages, and skilled magic swordsmen and warriors. The lands are plagued by water and air and shadow monsters, posing a constant challenge to its resilient inhabitants. Aspelenie was the place, to whom the Seraphia belonged, perhaps the reason that the winters were just so harsh.

In the east was the Sanctified Shores of Arzhel, A country with all four seasons, featuring the main temples of human Gods. Inhabited by paladins, priests, saints, and blessed individuals, this sacred land is the only human stronghold free from monster attacks and ruled by a council of divine leaders. There were healers there and also one of the biggest academies of the human continent, The Fey-wild Nexus was also there and Saad raised his eyebrow on the information.

As he read a little more about the academies, he realized that admission in Fey-wild Nexus was harsh. But most importantly, it was written that the academy only accepts children above the age of fourteen and individuals with potential will be given scholarships and by joining the academy, not only the user is able to enhance their abilities quickly but also can discover their true potential. There were many other benefits too, such as; connections, better equipment, high class creation manuals and career paths.

If a user were to skip academy, they could still become a renowned adventurer but it was recommended to enjoy the academy life since it comes with its benefits. Reading that, Saad's mind quickly raced. He couldn't remember any videos which were about the academy. Perhaps that meant that currently, academy wasn't open to the students. Would that be a special event? But he couldn't help but be intrigued.

After all, if he got into that prestigious academy, won't he have more chances to earn more money? For now though, Saad tapped he back icon and went back to read about the next country.

The fourth on the list was Dune of Sutton, a vast desert expanse where rogue professionals, martial artists, and earth magic users thrive. It was famous for their medicines, mercenaries, and stealthy thieves, the people of Dunes of Sutton were skilled in both combat and clandestine arts. A huge part of Sutton, also had vegetation but another small part also had sand volcanoes. The monsters you could find there mostly were the earth, fire and darkness.

The fifth region was Kaia Isla, which was a coastal region where monks, merchants, and mages coexist harmoniously. The inhabitants practice unique arts in which they are able to tame monsters of the sea to use them for travelling and engage in trade along the tranquil shores. The monsters there either water or air type.

Those words made Saad wonder once again, he had no idea if monster taming was a part of the game. He had seen nothing of that sorts with any player that he had come across in past three weeks inside the game. But that was the thing, he hadn't seen any monsters within the bounds of the city other than those arachnids. Perhaps the content that you could experience depended vastly on travelling to the region and discovering what they could offer.

The next region was the Torren. A mountainous terrain that experiences frequent rains, home to resilient warriors and skilled elementalists, witches and wizards. The people of Torren are known for their connection to the elements and mastery of mountain warfare. They are also the ones who deal with equipment enhancements and have the best materials for creation of best materials. Those people also tamed monsters. It was also said that, some of the toughest monsters could be found there. The type of monsters there were mostly earth, fire and wind.

Arden was the seventh stronghold. A region with pleasant winters and springs, celebrated for its herbalism and the formidable strength of its warriors. Arden was a haven for rare herbs and for artisans for multiple crafts. The place was also veiled in mystery because of the tribal system in Arden. There were many mysterious places in Arden since one part of the region was always rainy and humid and other was icy cold.

Torren and Arden's borders met with those of land of beasts, Halcyon which was in the continent of Therionis. Saad didn't try to read more about the other continent because it was already feeling like a lot. It was like remembering a geography lesson from his school days and geography was just never his forte. He knew that he was probably just wasting his time even reading all of this but, he felt like, he should at least read it all once. So he wouldn't be completely oblivious.

He scrolled down and started to read about the last empire of humans.

Verdant Festeria was the last and the eight stronghold of humanity which was also the lush, forested land with summers, rains, and heat, inhabited by skilled archers and seasoned hunters. Their capital was Sylvan Archipelago, which was also a place of conflict for humans and the elves who said that Sylvan Archipelago belonged to elves.

On the other hand, the people of Sylvan Archipelago thrive in the art of archery, music and spirit art and live in harmony with nature.

Saad stretched as he read the last line. He wasn't going to start reading about the other continents right away in detail but her decided to at least read the list of them, anyways and it was like this, Gaia; the human's continent and the largest continent, Eldorheim; where elves, dwarves and mystical spirits resided, Therionis; where beastmen and shapeshifters lived, Pandorium; where the elementals, faes, goblins and orcs lives, Cimmerion; where the undead and other races of darkness lived and lastly, Aegean; the ocean realm which was for the mer-folks

There was also an extremely large wasteland of a continent but there nobody lived, no one was allowed by the gods there and no race ever tried to go there.

It was funny in a way, because the game had only started for four months. Saad knew that the wasteland wouldn't be wasteland if it was the part of the game. As far as he knew, currently, the only races that could be picked were humans and few types of beastmen. Perhaps the developers had huge surprise for later?

It was interesting and Saad found himself enjoying reading about it, a lot more than he initially had thought. After all, it wasn't just on paper, all of this was very much 'real' in the game and he would eventually be able to go and see those places.

He went to the next tab, which was about the existence of dragons and other legends of chimerical world system.

It was stated there that CWS had two types of dragons, common ones which were lesser dragons or wyverns and then, there were the dragon lords. The common dragons were mostly the earth, water, fire, air, lightening, shadow, ice and light dragons and multiple types of wyverns.

Then came the dragon lords and elder dragons which were said to be hidden for the time being, since the main scenarios for their appearance needed to be triggered. The only known dragon lords were supposed to be the Chaos dragon, Plague dragon and Void dragon.

None of the names sounded like they would be fun to be around. Saad knew that he needed to get stronger quickly since some freak player might just get to trigger the dragon's scenario somehow. He went into the comment section, at least the part that was loaded and there were some strange questions. For example,

"What about the angels?"

"Isn't there a silhouette of an angel and devil on the CWS's main cover? Is it also going to be triggered by scenario since we have the virtue and taint system?"

And many other about the same thing and Saad had to wonder. This game just had too much! It was almost overwhelming amount of information to remember so he quickly closed that tab down and went to next one.

He next opened up the tab of available classes in CWS at the moment. Since, according to Ozias, he had made a wrong choice.

The main available classes currently were warrior, mage, rogue, cleric, ranger, monk, barbarian, bard, and artesian.

As expected of a game of this caliber but, there was a lot of freedom yet restrictions.
