Chapter 29 Adding Esdeath into Harem and The end of HOTD

(General POV)

"I'm Esdeath."

'Esdeath… I never thought she would still have the same name.' Lucia thought and was about to talk but Saeko cut in.

"I want to fight with you."

"Ho?" Esdeath raised her eyebrow and looked at another beautiful girl. Her heart didn't beat like the other girl but still, she is related to the white-haired girl and she feel she could get along with her. She could feel the pressure emitting from the girl was also really powerful.

Even though Esdeath thought she loved Lucia as soon as she saw her smile, she could feel the pressure emitting from the two girls in front of her was not weaker than her. Unknown to her, Lucia and Saeko didn't show their true power and that's why Esdeath thought she could win Saeko.

"Saeko… you come with me so that you can fight with her?"

Saeko is battle manic and the same goes for Esdeath too. If Lucia let the two girls fight, there is no doubt the surroundings would be more chaotic than the earlier fight.

"Yes, I want to spar with someone who was once known as 'Empire's Strongest'."

"Empire's strongest?"

Saeko said and Esdeath asked in confusion. Many Question marks appeared surrounding her. Lucia face-palm and sighs. That title is from anime after all, and Esdeath now is not from the 'Akame ga kill' world but Saeko seems to like that kind of title. And if Esdeath were to fight with Saeko who has so many insane skills, there is no doubt Esdeath would lose.

"I will explain later. Can you fight with her?"

"Sure."

Lucia asked Esdeath and Esdeath replied. If Lucia didn't release some aura and let Esdeath know they were strong, Esdeath would grab her and seduce her aggressively. Just like in anime Esdeath puts a colon with a chain to Tatsumi's neck and drags away to her bedroom. Even so, Esdeath is someone who cares and is nice to her family and comrades while a psychopath tortures and kills mercilessly enemies.

The reason Esdeath agreed to fight with Saeko was because she wanted to fight with similar strength to her (Esdeath's thought) and wanted to impress Lucia with her strength.

"But please don't use too much power and hurt each other okay?"

Lucia said as she grabbed the hands of Saeko and Esdeath. Both girls nodded.

Esdeath replied and Lucia nodded while smiling. Lucia was amused that Esdeath called her like that not long after they met.

'It seems Esdeath already like me' Lucia thought.

Esdeath is a straightforward person and expresses her feelings openly. That's why she said like that even though she was shy right now. She is even happier because the girl she likes is holding her hand. As for the machine-like hand, she saw it but didn't care because it didn't matter.

Saeko also replies as she pecks on Lucia's cheek. Esdeath was surprised and angry but she didn't attack Saeko because Lucia might disappoint her if she suddenly attacked Saeko and she is sure she couldn't overpower the two girls alone anyway.

Saeko is giggling because the provocation is working and the surroundings become cold. Lucia knew it too but she stepped back to some distance and golden ripples appeared behind her back as the golden throne emerged from there and Lucia sat on the throne.

On the place where many destroyed buildings and many massive pits were on the ground, the two girls stared at each other. They are Saeko and Esdeath.

"Shall we start?"

They disappear from their places and appear at random places as the swords clash. Saeko didn't use her Rengoku because Esdeath didn't have any weapons to block the slashes and Esdeath's ice swords would cut in half instantly.

Saeko used her magic and created an ice sword with the same appearance as Esdeath. Esdeath was also surprised when Saeko created an ice sword as her too.

They appear again and again as they cross their swords. Saeko didn't use her full strength in the fight because if not Esdeath would lose long before. After fighting for quite some time Esdeath noticed that her opponent didn't use her full power.

"Why are you not using your full power? I know this is not your level."

"But you won't be able to block those."

"Try me"

"As you wish"

They were chatting like that while they were fighting. Saeko used her ice field and her surroundings began to freeze rapidly. Esdeath also used an ice field to counter her but was overwhelmed by Saeko. The colors of the ice could be seen clearly because Saeko's ice was light blue color closer to white while Esdeath's ice was bright blue color and had more darker color.

Esdeath was surprised again because her ice was being overpowered by another ice user. Esdeath used many ice spears and ice spikes but all of those shattered to dust by unknown force and some were even sent back to her. That's right Saeko used the 'Extreme Reflection' skill but she only sent back a few to Esdeath.

Esdeath dodged them and started to gather ice energies as she jumped up to the sky with the help of an ice pillar which started to grow up under her feet. When she reached 6,500 feet high from the ground, she jumped off the pillar, the ice pillar started to crack and become ice dust as it disappeared. Esdeath flips her finger and a giant ice block starts to appear behind her back. Ice meteor start to fall from the sky covering the large space of the city with its shadow.

Esdeath moved away from its path as she kicked the ice meteor but she saw Saeko looking up at the ice meteor from the ground calmly. If someone were to be hit by it, there was no doubt they would be smashed to death and would try to escape from there. However, Saeko is not some weakling. Saeko starts to smile crazily and laugh.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

"This is FUNNNNN!!"

*Bang!*

Saeko jumped up toward the ice meteor as she used strong magic to herself. Saeko disappears from there as the ground shatters and becomes a pit because of the strength she uses. A moment later, an ice meteor blows up and shatters into dust in the air. The waves of air start to blow everywhere as the clouds also disappear. Even the ground tumbled for a few seconds.

Lucia looks at the scene which is similar to planet blowing scene from the movie. 'It's beautiful...' Lucia thought.

Saeko didn't fall down to the ground, she was standing in midair as if it was natural.

"What a monster…" Esdeath said in a low tone as she looked at Saeko. This is the first opponent that she couldn't win easily. Finally, she found who is equal to her (Esdeath though). She wants to enjoy this fight to the fullest.

Esdeath created an ice pillar from below her as she stood on it and grew toward Saeko who was in midair, waiting for her. Two beautiful (crazy) women smile happily (crazily) and start to fight another round again.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

"AHAHAHAHAHA!!"

Those two fight as they laugh. The battle took too long because Saeko used only half-strength but was still more powerful than Esdeath. They exchange swordsmanship skills on the giant pillars that surround them which were Esdeath's doing. Saeko has more strength and speed but Esdeath could still fight with her toe to toe.

Of course, Saeko only used her 'sword mastery' and not 'Heavenly Demonic Sword art' or Esdeath would lose instantly. They come to understand each other as they fight. As the saying goes 'Talking with sword'.

(A/N: I saw something like that from some martial art manhua and manwua. Like some big shot tried to know MC with a sword fight. There is even a dwarf king test Rimuru with the sword fight as well from Tensura anime.)

Esdeath beginning to understand that Saeko is similar to her personality as well that she also craz… *ahem* enjoys fighting. After 2 hours of fighting, Esdeath had many wounds but Saeko didn't have any. Esdeath decided to use her Trump card, she made her hands into a triangle shape and murmured.

"Mahapdama"

Mahapdama is a name Esdeath gives to this skill. This skill allowed her to freeze time, which gave her a moment to make a move during its effects. This skill used too much of her energy and could only use it once a day.

A dark blue color orb appears between her triangle-shaped hand sign and starts to expand rapidly and cover the whole area including Saeko, Lucia and all buildings 5-mile radius centered around her. Birds flying in the sky stopped as if they were statues and everything stopped in this time and space.

*tap…*

Esdeath walks to Saeko slowly and stops in front of Saeko who is standing like a statue. She tried to stab Saeko but suddenly Saeko's eyes moved and looked at Esdeath and used the 'Heavenly demonic sword art' skill and attack Esdeath.

*Bang!!*

Esdeath was shocked when she saw Saeko's eyes look at her and was attacked by Saeko. Esdeath was blown into the distance and rolled on the ground because of the strong impact.

Even though she stopped rolling and looking at the sky which was still painted in dark blue color. The skill she used didn't stop working yet which means her skill is still in effect and everything other than her was still stopped. However, Saeko attacked her in her time-stop skill was still active.

"Unbelievable…"

After she becomes a zombie, she wins endlessly and does not lose in any battles. Even after she almost lost in some fight, she won because of this skill. However, this time was different, she lost completely. Esdeath sighed and the shadow loomed over her and she saw the figure of Saeko.

"I will win next time…" Esdeath said.

"I will be waiting for it then."

The time starts to move again and surrounding colors begin to change back to their original color and the birds in midair start to fly again to the places where they originally heading. Saeko gave her hand and Esdeath took it and stood up.

(Lucia POV)

When Esdeath used her time-stopped skill the blue panel appeared in front of me.

[Blessing of Abyss have active!]

[All crown control skills have been removed.]

I rub my chin slightly with my index finger and thumb a few times and through.

"Hmm… Esdeath is not as strong as in anime. Well, she is not in her original anime after all. But still, she could use that skill here, just by becoming a high zombie. As expected from the final boss."

After the skill was active, I saw Esdeath walk to Saeko but was suddenly attacked by Saeko and bowed away. Well, Abyss-related skills were linked to my lover after all. Saeko must have active it too.

I stand up from my seat and start to walk to them because the battle is already finished. Then I saw the girls chatting happily and laughing as I walked closer to them.

"Yes, when I step on his head it blows beautifully."

"I should also try that"

*giggling*

"You should. And then… like this… cutting…"

"Mm…. I also … did that… and cut off its…"

They were chatting happily like that with beautiful smiles. Even though the topic of the chat was torturing people.

'Those two sadists…' I thought to myself as I shook my head slightly while smiling. They looked at me as they knew I was coming to them.

In Babylon, Shizuka is crying after listening to Saya's explanation about Esdeath from anime.

*sob*

"Poor Esdeath…"

Esdeath's pitiful ending and feeling sorry for her one-sided love, even though she is a super bad villain in anime. Rika hugging her while giggling and patting her back.

"Shizuka-nee, that's from anime and not Esdeath here. We don't know her real backstory."

"I know but she is a poor girl who loses her love."

Shizuka and Saya were talking. Even though that was from another anime, Saya couldn't think 'Ah it was just fiction' now. Because she is also in another anime too. Saya glanced at the cover photo of HOTD anime on the table. Yuriko is making some cakes in the kitchen to celebrate their new sister. Even though she doesn't have cooking skills, she can still cook good food.

(Rika POV)

'It is really fun to be here. Everyone is joking, teasing happily. My first love is staying at my side and got another beautiful and cool lover too. Should I just say wife?' I was thinking like that and giggling again while I patted Shizuka's back as I hugged her.

"You enjoying it to fullest, don't you?" Yuriko said as she walked to them as she walks out from the kitchen. Yuriko is wearing an apron and sits beside her daughter.

"Yea… I'm having a good time. It's nice to have a family like this. After all, I'm an Orphan. It was hard for me until Shizuka appeared and became my friend."

I said to Yuriko-nee. I consider Yuriko as an older sister because she is the oldest of us. I saw there were first wives, second wives and many in historical movies and they tried to kill each other for the throne. But here that doesn't happen because we love each other.

That's right, Lucia even supports us loving each other and not only her. That's why I can still love Shizuka, even though we all are married to Lucia. It sounds weird but it was nice to have a family loving each other.

"Yea… You told us your past before." Of course, I told my past to all of them. They also share their past. We were chatting but suddenly we felt Lucia and Saeko go back home. We started to prepare the welcoming party which we planned to do before.

After 5 minutes of waiting, the door opened and Lucia, Saeko and the new sister entered. Esdeath's look is younger than from original appearance from the cover photo we have seen.

(General POV)

Esdeath saw Babylon which was starting to appear above the city and was shocked. She didn't notice it because Lucia placed it quite high in the sky and made it invisible.

Later Esdeath was shocked again after she teleported into Babylon with Lucia and Saeko because she saw amazing designs and decorations. Even though she didn't care about money after she became a zombie, still looked at expensive materials which were designs on the wall and floors that were breathtakingly gorgeous.

Like that, she continued to amaze, she walked beside Lucia. Lucia and Saeko giggled looking at the face Esdeath made along the way. After all, they also made the same face just like her when they saw it first time. When Lucia opened the door Esdeath saw many beautiful girls. They have the appearance of 21 years and seem not much different from her age. They also give the aura of being non-human. Right, Esdeath is still young and not at the same age in anime.

"Welcome! Sister!" Shizuka shouted.

"Huh? Sister?"

The girls welcome her but Esdeath is puzzled. She was sure she was the only daughter in her family.

'Why are they calling me sister?' thought Esdeath. While Esdeath is in a daze with many thoughts. The girls start to walk closer to her and give a peck on Lucia's lips. Esdeath was shocked again after she saw this.

She never thought Lucia had this many lovers. She only thought Lucia had one lover which was Saeko. She never thought Lucia would be a playboy… ehh… playgirl? Anyway she didn't though Lucia would have this many girls.

'If it's like this, doesn't this mean i can also join?' Esdeath thought to herself. After all, Esdeath has just found her love for the first time in her life including her human past. From her understanding lovers are only two and no more, that's why with Saeko being Lucia's lover she thought it would be hard to join. Because Saeko is much stronger than her right now.

She was thinking how to make a move but when she saw Lucia already had many girls she threw away about 'what to do' and decided to just join them.

"Lucia, I…"

Esdeath was about to say something but Lucia turned around and pecked her lips then Lucia said,

"Esdeath, I love you. Do you want to be my lover?"

Esdeath.exe stopped and looked at Lucia like that for a few seconds. Many thoughts appeared in her mind. The girls giggle while looking at Esdeath's expression. A moment later, Esdeath comes back to reality again.

"Hehe…hehehehehe…"

She starts to laugh creepily as her head slightly down.

"Ahem… hello? Esdeath? Can you not laugh like that?"

Lucia asked her while shaking Esdeath as she held her shoulders slightly.

"Ah. Sorry, I was just happy…"

Esdeath raised her head and said.

"Welcome from family, Es-chan!"

"Welcome, new sister."

They welcomed her again warmly and walked into the living area of the room. After that, they ate the food Yuriko cooked and started to introduce each other and chat happily.

The fighting scene was shown on the large TV but suddenly it was closed. On the black screen, Lucia and her lovers sitting on the sofa were reflected from it.

"I think this was enough to go there."

"Are you sure you three will stay back for a while?"

"Yes, we will stay here for a while and remodel the Fortress."

"Even though staying here is safe, be careful ok?"

"Don't worry Lucia, we are fine it's not like we will part for a long time anyway. Shizuka-nee will also stay with us too don't worry too much."

She also got the 'Ring of Eternal Love' and they already held a married ceremony in Babylon. On the ring finger of all girls including Lucia are beautifully designed rings. There were some small rune letters were engraved gracefully.

The girls summoned the armor called 'Grey feather' Lucia bought for them. Even though they said armor, it was clothes. However, those were enhanced by magic so we can say those are armor. STR, AGI, DEX, and VIT could increase a little by wearing it and installing absolute block which can block 2 attacks of EX-rank.

They stored foods cooked by Lucia and weapons in the Gate of Babylon. Lucia also did the same. Truthfully, they don't need to eat because they are already immortals but they just want to taste the foods.

Then Lucia gives 'World Traveling Tickets' to each girl including those who will stay behind for a while. Lucia planned to use 'World Traveling Ticket' first and wanted to try her ring function which is teleport. From the info provided by it, the user and her lovers could teleport to each other's locations. Can it still be used even when they reach another universe?

For safety method, she gave one more 'World Traveling Ticket' to each girl. Now, everyone has 2 'World Traveling Tickets'. Lucia did this because there were some, no, there were many scenes in the plot that separated MC and his lovers while they went to another world. Mostly in cultivation novels.

She prepared for that kind of situation. First, she will go to the next world and let the girls use the 'teleport' function from the 'Ring of Eternal Love'. After all, it was an EX-rank skill and it was already written that it could teleport to the user's side. And if some kind of unknown situation appears the girls will use skill tickets to go back to HOTD and regroup again with Lucia.

If some kind of situation appears again and reaches another place, they can still use the next ticket to go back to HOTD again. Also if some kind of cultivator-like beings already become gods tried to make a move, there is a solution skill called 'Irregular one'. It's to counter that kind of enemy.

It can get 1000 times stronger than the enemy instantly and every attack will apply true damage. Dao hearts will completely shatter when the user touches the enemy 7 times. Perfect skill for those kinds of bastards! Even though it is useless if the conditions are not met. But it's good enough.

Some parts of it were cut but because its size was too big the attack couldn't kill it. It tried to shake off the girls and as soon as the girl had fallen it smashed again. The girl also dodged the attack skillfully. She understood she couldn't kill it by normal means and she covered her hand on her chest and a magically black color cube slowly emerged from her chest. It has a pure black color and white color circuits covering it.
