It might have been a blissful night inside the villa, but it was not so for the men parking near the entrance to the conservatory.
Rodney, Hamed, Carlisle, and the rest were gaping at the two men that arrived and brought a pack of wolves behind them. Under the moonlight, each of their hairs stood like stiff needles, glimmering with sharpness. They had never seen such huge wolves before, and the looks on their faces were like a mouse meeting a ferocious cat, but they gradually relaxed after perceiving no malicious intentions from them.
"Boss, did you tame it? You're so awesome!" Rodney praised his Dante, who just jumped out from the gray wolf's back. His eyes darted from his boss and to the wolves in admiration, especially after sensing the mutant animals had no hostility.
