Chapter 31

Mei panted as she laid on the bed that they had made to fuck each other as her body is covered in her sweat. She didn't think that she would be in this state as she lay on the bed while looking at the sky.

'He has more experience than I had thought. Perhaps he is naturally good at it. Well, that will be good for me. I can get good cultivation as well.' Mei thought to herself as she smirked.

She turned to address the man with whom she had slept with as she opened her mouth, but she froze when she didn't find him beside her. She sat on the bed and looked around the bed as it is in the sky as she searched for him without any kind of luck.

"Did he go away after he fucked me? The nerve of this brat." Mei said shocked before she became irritated and angry.

She got off of the bed as it disappeared while she floated on the air. She cleaned herself and then created clothes for herself before she disappeared from the place with a displeased expression.

As for the man himself, he had teleported out of there after he had fucked the woman. He will admit that she is a very beautiful woman and has skill in the sexual arts as well. Though he guessed that it should be given that she would considering that she is a 3000 year old cultivator.

'She will most likely come to meet me again. Eh, I'll think about it when the time comes.' Wen thought to himself as he teleported back to his apartment.

He went through some of the stuff on his laptop as he worked on it until it became morning. He ate his food and then he got a message from Lin asking him to come to an expensive restaurant, the time being 9 am and currently it is almost 8 am as he shrugged to himself.

He took note of the location and since his shop isn't going to be open until 10 he got ready quickly and wore some good looking clothes, then he exited his house and took a taxi to the restaurant as he reached it and sat on the bench on the sidewalk a few metres away from the restaurant.

He looked at the restaurant and it is quite big, which he didn't find anything surprising since a restaurant of that stature should be like that. He then sat there and enjoyed the wind that blew there and then a cat came and sat on his lap.

He looked at it and smiled before he started to pet and rub its head as the cat purred in response as he looked at it. He then took a photo with the cat as well as it stayed still and allowed him to take a photo of it.

'Maybe I should buy a pet for myself.' Wen thought to himself.

He knew that with his powers he will be able to take care of them very easily and without much of a problem. But he doesn't know if he should since it would take some time to take care of animals and he has been a bit busy these past few days.

"Maybe after things have calmed down." Wen said to himself as he rubbed the cat as it purred on his lap.

As he waited it soon became time for Lin to come as a car came at the entrance of the restaurant as Lin got out of it before she looked around the place. She spotted him as she gave a small wave as he stood up from the bench as he placed the cat on the ground as it ran away after mewing a bit.

He then walked to Lin and stood beside her as she gave him a small smile and he nodded in return.

"Thank you for agreeing to my invitation mister Chen." Lin said as she gave a small bow.

"It's fine. Now let's enter the restaurant. We don't want to draw too much attention to ourselves." Wen said to her as she nodded to him.

The two of them entered the restaurant and went to the VIP section, into a private room which Lin had booked as they entered it and sat on their seats before giving the order to the waiter.

"Was this necessary?" Wen asked her as he looked around the room.

"I didn't want any eavesdroppers. I had lashed out at him when I got home so I think he might try to spy on me." Lin said as she sighed.

"Huh, how did he react?" Wen asked her as he drank his water.

"He didn't like it obviously. He became more angry when I started to take your side of the argument and he asked me about how I had got the files." Lin said to him with an irritated look.

"Did he try to get physical?" Wen asked her as he reclined on his chair.

"Yeah. Unfortunately for him I am stronger than him due to my training." Lin said as she crossed her arms under her breasts as she looked at him.

"Well, he doesn't like it when things don't go as he wishes." Wen said with a nod as he understood the man's mindset.

"Yeah, he is self absorbed and likes to always talk about himself and always gives priority to his own wishes above all else. That is a not a good trait but he seems to be able to stop that part of himself to gain a successful business." Lin said as she sighed.

"I suppose you did not have a happy married life." Wen said as he looked at her.

Lin looked at him when she heard that before she looked away with a guilty look on her face as she sighed. After a few seconds she looked at him as she calmed herself down.

"No. Compared to when I was married to you, it wasn't much. At the start it was fine but as time went on his true personality started to show. Even if he tried to put up a front his selfish personality could be seen by how he acted. He has a superiority complex due to his status and doens't like it when those he thinks are undeserving and below him reach the same level as him." Lin said as she looked at him with a guilty look.

"People like me huh." Wen said as he looked at her.

"Yes. He didn't like the fact that I had taken you side and saying that a guy like you shouldn't even be compared to a man of his status. When I told him that he was jealous of the fact that you married me he exploded in anger at the accusation." Lin said as she remembered the scene.

"Are you sure he doesn't have an inferiority complex towards me?" Wen asked her with a chuckle.

"Yeah, I thought that too." Lin said as she chuckled as well.

After that the two of them were silent as they looked at each other before he decided to address the situation.

"So, I guess we should talk about how you can get out of this situation, yes?" Wen said to her with a serious face.

"Yes. That would be much ideal." Lin said as she sighed.

"Hmm, well, I might have an idea." Wen said with a smile on his face as she looked at him in intrigue.
