"I didn't know we were doing all that. What if we gain the attentions of nearby territories?" Hans asked.

"It's simple. We protect ourselves against possible threats." Vice pointed out as though it was such an obvious answer.

"I don't like war. People die. Innocent people." Valera says.

"Even so. We just have to do what we have to do in order to get by." Suou told them.

"By the way, will the heroes stay here for a while? We can open a portal after three days to send you back home." The King asked.

Suou blinked, "wait, you can do that?"

"Yes. We have a few portal scrolls and will gladly lend one to those who saved this kingdom." The King says.

"Lend?" Valera asked.

"That's right. You have to return it somehow." The King says with a smile.

"It's a pleasure then. I'm glad we don't have to take a month to return home." Suou told the King.
