Status Limit, to the Wetlands!

The days passed by quickly, and during this time, Leon didn't go out to any areas to capture Pokemon. Instead, Leon stayed home and taught his brother and sister.

Furthermore, Leon had been doing evasive training with Aron and Beldum. By this point, two days had already gone by.

Leon had laid out a test for Lars and Leona to see what they remembered and learned. Much to Leon's surprise, the weather was still going strong. Fortunately, Leon had learned that it would be clear skies tomorrow.

He had written out the test questions, while most were multiple-choice—a few required a written answer.

"You guys can start anytime," Leon said lightly.

Both took the test on opposite sides of the room from one another. Leona had finally decided that she wanted to explore with Leon and Lars.

They were going to leave an hour after the test. Leona used the money Leon had given her two days ago to buy food and a few more supplies.

Leon had ultimately decided to go to the Wetlands.

As Leon was lost in thought, a loud knock echoed through and from the transportation area. This was where trucks parked and waited for further instructions.

"I'll check it out. You guys can continue with your test, I'll be right back." Leon assured them and got up to check.

"Hey, you brats, I know you're in there. Hurry up and answer me, it's raining out here!" A harsh voice greeted Leon as he walked up to the garage.

Leon didn't raise the garage door and instead took the door off to the side.

Once Leon walked out, his gaze landed on the man who'd been knocking violently. He had a donut-like hairstyle due to hair loss. He was a late-stage middle-aged man with bits of wrinkles forming on his face.

"What do you want?" Leon recognized this man. He was one of the men who hired him and his brother to do miscellaneous odd jobs.

"Brat, show some respect! That isn't the way you talk to your elders!" The middle-aged man looked at Leon coldly and said.

"If you don't have anything to say, then get lost." Leon wasn't the meek person as his former self.

"What?!" The middle-aged man's eyes widened in surprise. When did this brat grow so bold as to dare speak to him like that?

"Kid, do you want a beating? How dare you speak to me like that?!" The man walked toward Leon with a dark expression and raised his hand to strike him.

The attack was fast and ruthless, this strike would no doubt cause Leon's face to swell if it came into contact. The strike would probably be enough to knock him out.

However, something strange had happened. Leon had reached out and stopped the man's fist.

"W-what? How can you...?" The middle-aged man was shocked, his eyes dilating in disbelief.

"You want to assault me?" Leon grinned and started to squeeze the man's hand.

"Ahhh! Stop! You little b-bas...Ahhhh!" The middle-aged man screamed and fell to his knees with a splash.

"S-stop! I-I'm sorry..." The middle-aged man begged for forgiveness.

"What do you want? Why are you here?" Leon knew this man well, he used to beat him and his brother when they made mistakes.

Before these odd jobs were done, he would state how much he would pay them. However, he would always pay them less than agreed, or not at all.

Leon had a strong dislike for this man and had a desire to harm him, but he lacked the physical strength to do so. At most, he could only dislocate the man's wrist.

Perhaps with a few twists, he could break the man's hand or even his arm.

"M-my basement flooded where some of my product is located. I just wanted to give you guys some work by having you remove the water with buckets."

The middle-aged man's body shivered as he slowly stood up. He just couldn't figure out how Leon had gotten so strong, it just didn't make sense.

He had also heard that this particular sibling had gotten beaten up badly. However, he was walking around stronger than ever.

"No, we won't be doing any more odd jobs, so don't come back." Leon and his brother didn't need to do such odd jobs anymore.

"Uh, okay, I'll leave then." The middle age wanted to say something else. But when he saw Leon's glaring eyes; he decided otherwise.

The middle-aged man gritted his teeth and cursed in his heart that this wasn't over.

Afterward, Leon returned to the factory. These days didn't simply pass by normally, Leon had done some investigating when it came to the system.

He had discovered a couple of important things over this course of time. Not only did Pokemon have status, but he did as well.

However, his status was limited in what he could boost.

"Status..." Leon rubbed his chin and said.

<Name: Leon Brinstar< p>

<Occupation: N A< p>

<Stats: 2 7 Strength: Agility: Spirit: 3.5 < p>

<Skills: N A< p>

<Unique Skill: Eye Of Necrozma< p>

Originally, Leon had 1 stat point in strength, agility, and 0.5 stats in spirit. He was given 10 attribute points to freely distribute.

Leon also discovered that his [Unique Skill] was related to his ability to see the statuses of items and Pokemon.

Such an ability didn't work on humans, which Leon felt was a shame.

Leon was still trying to figure out what spirit meant, but he felt his senses increase when it rose. He speculated that it was related to his awareness of the senses.

In any case, as long as his strength stat was high, Leon could defend himself against humans. Leon also, to some small degree, could defend himself against Pokemon.

He learned from the system that strength and agility above Ten were superhumans. As for the spirit, the highest and max was Ten. As for agility and strength, the max was Twelve.

His status had a limit in this world.

Thus, Leon was already much stronger than the average adult!

He didn't pay much attention to spirit, but he speculated that it had something to do with Aura. He didn't plan to fight anyone anyway unless he had to defend himself.

Leon aimed to become a league champion by training his Pokemon before moving to the next region.

Once Leon had arrived in the kitchen where they were doing their test, he sat down. Leon could tell that they wanted to ask him what happened.

"It's nothing, you can continue." Leon smiled and said. With a light nod, they both continued their test.

Leon thought about going to the mountain, but the Wetlands were the best choice right now. After the test, Leon and his siblings were planning to leave for the Wetlands.

Lars was excited, but his sister was feeling reluctance mixed with excitement.

'I'm excited for you all, but we will be going our separate ways at the start of our journeys.' They had their own paths, but he'd make sure they were well off.

Once the test was done, they handed their examination to Leon.

"Alright, you guys can get ready, it going to be an interesting day today. We should be able to get home later today, or tomorrow if we camp out."

Leon feigned putting the test away before standing up and exiting to their sleeping quarters. Once he was in the room, Leon changed clothes and put on his green raincoat.

"I can finally head back out and catch some more Pokemon." There was no doubt that Leon was eager to do more exploring.

He also wanted to complete this quest, mainly because it awarded him money. After some time, Leona and Lars were dressed and ready to go.

"Okay, we're ready to leave." Lars and Leona came over with smiles.

Leona and Lars wore raincoats that had different colors. Leona wore a dark blue raincoat while Lars wore a black raincoat.

Leon saw that Leona had a backpack that was loaded with supplies she bought. These things were bought with the ₱100 he had given her two days ago.

"That's my sister, she's always prepared for almost any given situation." Leon stroked his chin and said in a teasing tone.

"Haha, great. Our sister knows well." Lars laughed and patted Leona on the back.

"You guys...hmph!" Leona pouted as her cheeks flushed red.

Moments later, the trio could be seen walking down the street of the town. Leon, of course, had extra supplies in his inventory—just in case.

Leon opened the system and tagged his brother and sister on the map. This would effectively trace their locations, always.

'I feel like a stalker, but this is necessary for their safety.' The function only allowed him to track his allies, and not enemies and random people.

Leon inspected the weather today and found that it wasn't raining as hard as earlier. The rain came down like any normal rainy day, thus, Leon could now see people on the streets.

This didn't deter him from his objective and they continued on their way. Leona bought an umbrella to help further guard against the weather conditions.

"Wow, the weather is pretty bad but this is nothing compared to the snowy weather." Leona had no problem dealing with this weather.

She believed this rainy weather was nothing compared to the chilling cold weather of winter. During those times, it became hard to survive if you didn't have a heat source.

"I know that's right, we almost died a few times during our winter days in the past," Lars recalled how hard it was to survive, he would rather not relive those days.

Fortunately, they discovered that the hot furnace-like machines in the factory still functioned. Those machines smelted Iron ores and other metallic objects.

The siblings traveled to the entrance of the town that led to the Wetlands. However, this time, the exit was guarded by trainers.

"Halt! Where do you think you're going?" One of the guards raised and stretched his palm out and said.

"We're planning on leaving and heading to the Wetlands. Is there a problem?" Leon asked with grinned.

"There are Pokemon in the wild, you could die. If you haven't met the age requirement or have a Pokemon, you can't pass."

If this was the mainland, they wouldn't be able to leave if they didn't meet the age requirement.

However, on such a secluded island, they were likely to run into Pokemon more often. So, they had to be sure that they had a Pokemon before venturing out.

"I have proof of our ages." Leon pulled out some paper to prove their identities.

In this world, there was a method to check someone's age. Such as the use of psychic Pokemon or machines.

Leon and his sibling's ages had been proven long ago, and he kept those identification papers. Fortunately, the papers were covered by plastic that protected them from rain or other forms of damage-inducing elements.

"Hmm..."

The guard took the papers but he had no way of telling if they were authentic.

"I need to confirm that you have a Pokemon to defend yourselves in the wild." He handed the papers back to Leon and said.

Leon didn't hesitate and summoned Beldum.

"What?" The town guards looked on in shock, it was Beldum of all things!

"This kid actually has a Beldum?"

"Look at its colors, this isn't a normal Beldum."

"My gosh, it's a shiny Beldum!" This man's expression changed drastically, he simply couldn't accept that this kid had something like this.

The captain also noticed that the Pokeball wasn't a Pokeball, but a Heavyball. Some of the guards couldn't recognize the ball, but the captain knew what it was.

The guards couldn't stop staring at the Beldum, they wished they had such a Pokemon. However, Beldum was hard to find in the Hoenn region, but not so much in Kalos.

"Ah, okay, y-you may pass." The captain sighed before ordering the guard to clear the way.

"Thank you." Leon and his siblings quickly left the town where they were met with a road.

Leon frowned, this road contained ankle-deep water and thick mud. The rain only made things worse.

Leon knew that during the rainy seasons, certain Pokemon would become highly active. Pokemon you would normally not spot so easily in the wild.

"It's a good thing we have rubber rain boots for this occasion." Normally, this would be problematic.

"This road is so hard to walk on and it's slippery. This mud is so thick and is sticking to my boots." Leona struggled, she was scared she would slip and fall in the mud.

Leona wasn't the only one struggling, they all struggled but fortunately, they didn't fall.

Eventually, they made it to the Wetlands. This Wetland was a mixture of saturated water that was sometimes fresh or salted but also mixed with vegetation.

"Wow, it's so large!" Lars and Leona looked on with excitement.

Leon observed the vast Wetland that was encircled by lush green trees.

His eyesight had improved drastically, and Leon could already see Pokemon 'activity' going on in the vicinity.

'It's time to make a move.' Leon expressed his determination.
