Chapter 35: New Ally

"So about your father, has the killer been found?" Aliya jolted out of her 'I don't care mood' at his question and stare at him, she don't know which emotion she's suppose to feel, anger or sadness as she stare at his worried and curious eyes.

'Why is he worried about me?' She asked herself in her mind

'Maybe he's just worried I may lash out at him cause of his question, am sure that's it ' she thought convincing herself he isn't worried about her.

"No!" She answered his question simply

"What! No! Why uptil now?" Fahad cry out loudly attracting attention from people inside the place before he meekly turn to Aliya with an apologetic look.

"Why hasn't the killer been found? Aren't the investigators doing anything?" He half whispered after remembering what they were discussing is sensitive.
