Joanne stared long and hard at the young lady who was sitting beside her brother and holding his hand.
Ethan had told her that he had many lovers back in Eastshire, so she’d been wanting to meet them all.
‘I’m sure that Ramona looked more beautiful than this girl, when she grew up as well,’ Joanne, who was biased toward her best friend, thought. ‘Also, her chest isn’t that big. I’m sure Ramona beats her in that department as well.’
Chloe, who was being observed by Ethan’s sister, couldn’t help but feel that the cute girl was appraising her.
But compared to what Joanne was thinking, she was more concerned about Catherine, who was also looking at her with a critical gaze. It made her feel nervous because this was the first time that she was meeting Ethan's biological family.
“Mother, Joanne, if you both continue to stare at Chloe like that, you’d probably drill a hole in her face,” Ethan said.
